Things like this happen, they didn't do because of disagreement between the band and the film people, whoever they are, but if that's be resolved it can happen. Maybe it was something like some these film people wanting bits of the film in the video and Muse saying no, I guess we will have to wait. http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1637427/story.jhtml Old quotes but MTV seem to think they could still be on it, the whole things is still undecided it seems. On topic: the more I think about it, the more likely I expect this will be the Eclipse tune. For one thing, any more singles from The Resistance would be too many, even though they normally release at least five. This is because, as well as three songs having single releases, USE was given as a free download, IBTY was included on the New Moon soundtrack album (albeit as a remix) and all three parts of Exogenesis had a limited vinyl release for Record Store Day. So that means that only three album tracks haven't been released in some other form. Also, the ones that were released as singles didn't do very well, especially considering the success of the album as a whole, so there's not much point in releasing more singles from The Resistance. So that just leaves the Eclipse song, which would probably generate more buzz than recent singles because thousands of teenage girls will buy it.
