Cyndris
Wait what. I always just play a F#. It doesn't sound wrong to me, so fuck that shit about Bm/F#
Doog
I think it's F# on the album version but he definitely plays Bm/F# live

Doog
didn't know there was even an official tab book for the resistance but as others have said in several threads around here, the official tab books aren't perfect anyway (and occasionally they're not even close). think the only one I've ever seen that's close to 100% is the tab book for a rush of blood to the head (LOLdplay), and that's only because I think the band actually helped produce it

JP4560
has anyone ever found a good live tab of MOTP? id like to try to get osmething close to HAARP. i have the tab book and its ddefinitely vastly different from what he plays live If you have the effect working already then its not much different than the album version, alot Easier live than the Album The intro is the same(this is how I play it, sounds correct, HAARP wise) Intro e|-| B|-| G|-| 4x D|-| A|3| C|-| then e|---|---|---|---| B|---|---|---|---| G|---|---|---|---| 4x D|---|---|---|---| A|---|---|---|---| C|-0-|-3-|-8-|-5-| And then Main Riff e|---|---|---|---| B|-4-|-4-|-4-|-3-| G|-5-|-5-|-5-|-5-| 2x D|---|----|-6-|-3-| A|-3-|--6|---|----| C|---|---|---|---| Now In the Album version he does this e|---|---|---|-----| B|---|---|---|-----| G|-5-|-5-|-5-|-5-7-| D|---|---|---|-----| A|-3-|-3-|-3-|-3-5-| C|---|---|---|-----| X2 e|---|---|---|-----| B|---|---|---|-----| G|-8-|-8-|-8-|-10-7| D|---|---|---|-----| A|-6-|-6-|-6-|--8-5| C|---|---|---|-----| But for HAARP you just replace that^ with this below e|---|---|---|---| B|-4-|-4-|-4-|-3-| G|-5-|-5-|-5-|-5-| 4x D|---|----|-6-|-3-| A|-3-|--6|---|----| Then for the chorus repeat once again: e|---|---|---|---| B|-4-|-4-|-4-|-3-| G|-5-|-5-|-5-|-5-| 2x D|---|----|-6-|-3-| A|-3-|--6|---|----| Then this e|---|---|---|---| B|---|---|---|---| G|---|---|---|---| 4x D|---|---|---|---| A|---|---|---|---| C|-0-|-3-|-8-|-5-| Now for that screechy sounding part right after its e---------- B-12b--10b- 2x G-10b--12b- then just repeat from the Main Riff Do you also need the outro riff? its RATM-maggies farm riff really simple, its on muse Wiki Now someone correct me if im wrong, but when I play it, it sounds like the HAARP version, the only problem is that we dont all have his Jesus Distortion with that Diezel
Museman8989
thank you! i actually do have a semi decent effect that sounds a lil tangy but its close. my question is whats that extra chord or two he plays on the live version before the last "lonliness be over"
JP4560
thank you! i actually do have a semi decent effect that sounds a lil tangy but its close. my question is whats that extra chord or two he plays on the live version before the last "lonliness be over" No problem, now if someone could help me with my request on page 16 lol. But Im not too clear on which part you are asking for,the quiet sounding chords he plays starting at the 3:24 mark while hes signing "loneliness be over" are e|---|---|---|---| B|-4-|-4-|-4-|-3-| G|-5-|-5-|-5-|-5-| D|---|----|-6-|-3-| A|-3-|--6|---|----| C|---|---|---|---| I think he switches to a crunch or clean channel and strums lightly, with some echo maybe. Now if you are talking and those extra notes you hear starting at the 3:30 mark go like this e|------3-------3--------3----------- B|---4--4---4--4---4---4---4 G|---5------5-------5--------5- D|--------------------6--------3- A|---3------6-------------------- C|------------------------------ just strum the extra 3 and 4 lightly about after the Last "loneliness be over"(4:09 mark from HAARP version) he does the same thing he did at the end of the first chorus e---------- B-12b--12b- G-10b--10b- although i think he goes down 2 or 3 frets from these, im not too sure

Dominic.
Does anyone know the tab for the verse part of this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-exWI-hHUPs&feature=related I know the notes, I never get the pattern right but then that doesn't really matter as you can barely distinguish the individual picking pattern due to the effects applied. JP4560
edit, whoops wrong tab. Yea id like to know that verse part too, sound likes theres a lot of stuff over it. It almost sounds like its being played 1oct up with Delay Also will someone help me find out the chorus verse and Outro for this please! It sounds so easy but I just cant find the notes. from 0:49-1:10 and 2:21-3:04 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O21SxmOqJ-
Plex
These two chords on Endlessly are a bitch.. The two chords played in the chorus exactly as Matt says "..and I won't, leave you falling...." are impossible for me to get right. The wiki says that those two chords are Gm then A. That doesn't sound right to me. Anyone care to give it a go? Also the chords for the ending of the song in this performance would be nice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bogOS5L-kuI
