rainer219
Was really hoping to watch this after working 12 hours today. Really no one recorded the whole thing? Would if I knew how to record lol Besides, only thing really worth watching were Reapers and Mercy - the best live performances so far of the two. The rest were pop staples for the general BBC Radio 1 crowd.
Clunge
Reapers into Psycho was really cool, but I think I'd reverse them just because Psycho has had more exposure and it really gets people going immediately. Sick to death of the doubling up, so to speak though. With Psycho and Mercy in the set, there is no need for Uprising and Starlight. Same goes for Dead Inside and Madness. Reapers I'd equate live to Unnatural Selection.
Spittle
If Animals sticks around, I'd like to see it given the extended outro treatment. Make the ending even bigger.
michael8888
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lWQRHisqUs KoC sounds very weird without the vocal effect at the intro
Bumpypotato
Reapers I'd equate live to Unnatural Selection. Why on earth would you do that?
Finn.
KoC sounds very weird without the vocal effect at the intro I noticed that aswell. By the way, anyone knows if this show will be on musebootlegs or something? I only found meh videos on youtube and none of Reapers.

Agree, they need to decide to rotate (which doesn't really make sense as they're just about to release a new album with the new songs) or suck it up and not play some of their fan favourites for a while (they can always bring them back later when they get bored of playing the new album) Reapers is pretty original by Muse standards though, I don't think that song has an equivalent from previous Muse albums. Clunge
Re Reapers/US, I meant more that they feel like songs that could/will occupy the same spot in a set, not so much that they bear musical resemblance - although I do think there are some parallels between the two. forevermusic
Do agree last night's gig sounds a bit of a mess, particularly with the guitar.
Ryoma-kun
Do agree last night's gig sounds a bit of a mess, particularly with the guitar. It was quite sloppy all over the place tbh.
AJUltra
Reapers works so much better as an opener than closer. Felt like I was the only one who didn't fancy it as a closer. Might change as I become more familiar with it though.
spark_
Dead Inside sounded dreadful wow i'm not convinced that matt yelling DEAD INSIDE out of nowhere is really a convincing start to a live song

Peter.
definitely. out of the songs that are out, I don't see why'd they choose anything else than the 0305030 riff to kick off a show.
jacjens
I really hope Reapers opening was a one-time thing. I think Psycho is the best opener they have ever had and I'm looking so much forward to hearing it.

jacjens
That's an overstatement. Not in any way for me. Gets it going right from the start and has that "Boom, here we are!" effect. Wouldn't have any problem with Psycho into Reapers as the opening though.

White Heat
I like both openings, but you gotta admit Reapers into Psycho is a million times better than Psycho into Dead Inside like they've been doing on the small US shows.
Jobby
Stockholm > Psycho would be a better opening couple than Reapers > Psycho imo. Reapers is a great tune but it's not an opener.
LewisF
I thought it worked great as an opener, and I loved the transition into Psycho.
Jobby
I thought it worked great as an opener, and I loved the transition into Psycho. The transition into Psycho was good but it could easily be done with just about any Drop-D Muse song, like Stockholm. I just feel like a good opener needs to be quite grand and give that feeling of "We're here, bitches." Reapers isn't really that kind of song imo. White Heat
I think they'll keep Reapers > Psycho for the festivals shows, at least for the first ones.
