A bit too overproduced, I think removing the backing vocals would improve the song, and I'm not a fan of the fake drums. But there are parts I like quite a bit, like the pre-chorus. Idk, it's weird. It's definitely the song. I just really don't understand how can a man who wrote Origin of Symmetry and Absolution could think these new songs are good. It’s been 15-17 years since both of those records, you’re gonna change as a person in that time (especially when your life changes way more radically than most) and Matt clearly has. It’s been 15-17 years since both of those records, you’re gonna change as a person in that time (especially when your life changes way more radically than most) and Matt clearly has. Yeah, I get that. But it's not an excuse. I don't mind changing of personality to contribute to a change of style and genre... but, there is a big drop in quality.
