Wtf Dig Down is actually decent this way Also Matt's delivery on Pressure was...weird (but not bad). I was expecting more enthusiastic and bombastic performance. It was the opposite of the music video.

Closing with Bliss is sci-fi, and how the fuck did MK Ultra got there? They could play Glorious again I think.

That robotic voice effect on the "something human, humaaan" part doesn't fit to the mood of the rest of the song at all... From gentle acoustic and organic sounds they suddenly shift to artificial sounding effects, it's like I'm listening to e completely different song. It would be a lot better if the chorus sounded closer to the acoustic version.

It's true, Matt apparently confirmed it in the interview after the premier on the radio.
-
Oh no, another Dig Down
-
They are actually doing a double album lol 11 songs + 8 acoustic songs
-
I don't think so. Even if they do, they are a lot more versatile thematically, and the theme is more subtle not so much in your face
-
Since they started to force themselves to make a themed album, the albums started to suck. The Resistance - 1984 The 2nd Law - ecology bullshit Drones - well...drones And now... 80's vampire virtual reality bullshit
-
The teaser image and Matt "turning" makes me thing that there is going to be a heavier or more intense part in the song
-
Most people don't understand that a lot of fans don't like the new songs not because they don't sound like OoS ot because they don't have a distorted guitar, but because they are not good enough. I don't care about the style, just make a good song.

Being colorblind this is giving me a headache

I can't believe fabri still hasn't said that it's terrible

Do you think there's a chance for DD and TC not being in the album? I really hope so.

These things sound great in theory, yes. I would get my hopes up too if the first two singles were at least decent.

From the latest interview: Album likely in November with two more singles beforehand There are two acoustic-driven tracks. One of which has a weird beat and is funk/trap/hip hop tinged. The other acoustic track is heavier but without distortion. Thought Contagion is not the heaviest song on the album, and there are a few electro-piano classical type tracks with cinematic, filmic elements. For this album, Matt was inspired by the media he consumed when he was 5 or 6. Particularly music and imagery associated with movies like Robocop, Blade Runner, Back to the Future, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Chris is essentially the one tasked with compiling all the old demos and recordings from the band's very early years (for the Origin of Muse boxset) because Matt and Dom basically don't remember anything about the formation and early days of Muse lol

Again, it doesn't bother me that he dislikes, I just like to know why, I like an elaboration. I don't care why a random person dislikes Muse. But for a reviewer I am a fan of, I am curious why he dislikes them. Yes, he showed a quote of another person and said "I would argue with this", using the quote as a subtle glimpse at his opinion. "Listenable", like he said, is not much of a compliment.

Well, because I love the album, it's one of my favorites ever, and I also love the melon and appreciate him as a reviewer, so I'd like to know his elaborated opinion about the early Muse albums. He usually rants for minutes about things in that section, and for muse I got just a smirk. It's weird to me that he gave a neutral rating to Drones (a 5), he didn't love it, but he didn't hate it. He has said that The Resistance appealed to him... and now he says that Muse are terrible even in the early 2000s...

What do you mean "not surprised"? Has Elle behaved badly before?
