If you could re-order/re-track a Muse album, how would you do it?

Swap The Small Print for Fury. Matt was right DAMMIT.

Resistance is shite, but I made an EP playlist a while ago that included Exogenesis, Soaked, Resistance and the instrumental for United States. That was quite nice.

I think their later albums tend to be structured a little better. The way I see it is BH&R and TResistance make their beginnings and endings clear which matches their live performances. Whereas albums prior to BH&R are a little unclear. Wow, that sounded mechanical.

Still, I wouldn't change a thing, it wouldn't feel right... grown up with all of them for too long now :)

It's not.

I must say I wouldn't have expected you to go to its defense. :p

Edit: To elaborate, I'll concede that the verses are good, as well as the intro, even if it needed more production. But the choruses are abysmally soppy and come across as generic.

Of course it need more production it was a demo tape. Never intended for a full (Muse) release. It's a great song though. Wish they had done something with it.

My Very Altered OoS Playlist.

New Born

Bliss

Space Dementia

Plug In Baby

Dr Who Theme (Murray Gold)

Citizen Erased

Cross-Polination

Futurism

Dead Star

Interlude (Absolution)

Megalomania

Despite my love for Hyper Music, Darkshines, and Micro Cuts, I decided to completely rework OoS without them :p Interlude works really well for winding down from the pace of Dead Star to the slow epic closer of Megalomania. and Cross-Polination works beautifully after CE. I put the Dr Who Theme in there simply because I wanted to, and I think it fits nicely.

I was also toying with putting Shrinking Universe in between Futurism and Dead Star, but decided that section flowed better without it.
