If you could re-order/re-track a Muse album, how would you do it?

Well it's good, I just prefer mine more.

 

I'd switch MC with CE. That way the heavy riff at the end of MC flows with CE's intro. Which is awesome. Put Futurism between PiB and MC. I don't like to include Dead Star because it is a different release. It's Dead Star/In Your World. Outside (yet oddly part of) of the Origin era, but to each his own. If you are including Dead Star then I guess I would put it up top near the beginning. In a perfect world I would like Screenager to be replaced with the piano version, but that isn't possible. Nature_1 is good b-side to throw in for fun.

It's tempting to make Black Holes and Resistance into a double album, seperating the electronic and orchestral sounding songs. They're basically the same album and I imagine it'd work pretty well.

 

USoE cheesy? Not that much.

 

Massively cheesy.

Was on a fairly long journey listening to Black Holes and ended up playing it in this order and quite liked it:

 

1 - Knights Of Cydonia

2 - Supermassive Black Hole

3 - Easily

4 - Starlight

5 - Map Of The Problematique

6 - Assassin (Grand Omega Bosses Clean Edit)

7 - Exo-Politics

8 - Hoodoo

9 - City Of Delusion

10 - Glorious

11 - Take A Bow

 

I suppose the main thing was swapping KOC and TAB round. I guess I just thought TAB worked better as a closer and KOC could work in either place but I quite liked the galloping horses etc. opening the album. Oh, and I know a lot of people don't like Exo-Politics but I do so I kept it in :phu:

Yeah KoC and TaB could easily be swapped. But I don't want to touch the epic western trio at the end.

Everybody forget Dead Star was recorded AFTER Origin Of Symmetry. :LOL:

Shrinking Universe on the other hand belongs to that time.

 

I didn't forget, it just fits like a charm on Origin. If that re-track I posted was the actual album, it'd easily be my favourite album of all time (not trying to say it's the perfect re-track, just saying that it's perfect for me personally).

 

also, this subject was created long ago with all the albums, not only Origin, use search next time.
