Hat
What are the odds that Matt will sing "Let me go" in falsetto? With the way he's been performing lately, I'd say quite high. But he might surprise us.
Jobby
Gotta say, pretty sure the second verse is one of my favourite things they've ever done.
Teitan
This is getting up there with Reapers for my favorite on the album. Only thing holding it back is that the solo goes nowhere. It sounds good but needed a little more variety especially following the solo in Reapers.
queenholly
this is fast becoming one of my all time favourites. Love everything about this song. Definitely need to see it live:)
FUTURE_MUSE
does anyone else hear hear parts of the "in your word" outro in the solo part to "the handler" ? Does take you back to the absolution days though right? Can't wait to here this album at download

arildsundby
Now I'm beginning to love it! Didn't really like it the first couple of times, but having listened to it more and more, it has become one of my favourites from Drones so far.
GodNeverPaid
At the end of the lyric video, we see a bigger "black-hooded" dude over the, apparently, deceased other "black-hooded" dude. I thought this might be symbolic of the protagonist but why represent him the same way you did the antagonist? It made me wonder: Do you guys think this is a foreshadowing of The Globalist, where the protagonist actually turns evil and becomes a new, more malevolent dictator? It just puzzled me a bit. I think that's a fair interpretation. Or perhaps the idea is that no matter how many villains you kill/free yourself from there's always another taking their place

GodNeverPaid
I think that's a fair interpretation. Or perhaps the idea is that no matter how many villains you kill/free yourself from there's always another taking their place I thought of that as well - but I feel like that would go against the last part of the song, where the protagonist regains control of and hope for himself... Ending on such a dark note seems a bit off when you think about Revolt and Defector coming up next on the album. EDIT: Love your profile pic and sig - Mads Mikkelsen is fucking brilliant. Jordimuse
Reapers and Defector are good, but this song is by far the best song on the album imo.

Furygirl
This song is awesome! I think it's my favorite. And I don't know shit about playing guitar, but that bridge part or whatever seems pretty technically impressive.

The real technical skill here is in the prechoruses, Chris' bass runs are insane.

AguanteRiver
Yeah, this has to be in the running for Most Instantly Popular Muse Song of all time. I'm afraid of overplaying it, but at the same time, I can't stop!
alibros
if the solo was shorter and a bit more creative this would have easily become my favourite Muse song.
