So that's definitely "more to it." I don't know how you could expect much more than that seeing as how we knew the trailer gave us half the song already. I wouldn't say it was different, just strings+dubstep instead of strings OR dubstep It all sounded cool when it got together, and I don't agree with people who thought it sounded messy. I thought the production was great considering how different the sounds are. But back to the point. We didn't know how much the trailer gave us. We got a "leaked tracklist with track lengths" long after we initially saw the trailer. Ok that last bit made me Honestly I can't really argue with anything you're saying, so maybe I'm just misinterpreting people what people are saying when they express their disappointment. I've just gotten the feeling that a select few people now hate the trailer part (that they initially liked), purely because the rest of the song didn't live up to their expectations. After hearing the resistance, after the nonsense with twatlight, after Muse hanging around with #TeamSkrilly and after the united states of eurasia II piece of shit for the olymipcs with the lyrics "RACE WARS SIA," I was so ready to hate this. I was convinced this was going to be utter shite. But actually, it's not half bad. If the whole album has this much effort, quality and inovation, I'd listen to it, and not call muse shit constantly. Until then, I shall remain optimistic for the new album, remain excited about the new daft punk album, and see what happens. I agree with the extended jam part...it definitely feels like a complete mess though, don't think it should be on the album personally. I must be listening to a different song to everyone else. Each to their own but I think it's easily one of their worst songs. The classical part is dreary compared to previous classical pieces Matt has produced, the robot voice is a total cringe fest and and the dub/brostep is exactly that. Just had another listen but this time through headphones and loud, its so heavy during the dustep parts its fantastic. And im glad they did the vocals how they did, rather than trying to turn it into a song with lyrics. It's going to be a fantastic song at live volume.
