HaikuMarko Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Hooray, Finally.... I'd like to discuss more on the Slap Bass featured in this song, or if anyone likes the moaning/screamy sounds that Matt maks on the last chorus... he just goes "aaaaaahhh" it's awesome, I love it, for some reason I get the chills.... he must be speaking a language that gets right into my nervous system
Tessa Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 The thing is, looking at a bit larger scale, Muse is nowhere near being "alternative". I dont like your signature
Jackstin Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 The thing is, looking at a bit larger scale, Muse is nowhere near being "alternative". Muse are still alternative. And by alternative I mean wierd. It's just that there's a huge number of equally wierd musers who can relate to their quirky west-country ways.

basherwok1 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Its more than cool. I can't stop listening to it on youtube, because it was so fantastic in Teignmouth. I love it! when I get the album this is one I can tell will be on repeat a lot.
Obi Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 The thing is, looking at a bit larger scale, Muse is nowhere near being "alternative". What are they then? I don't subscribe to this idea that Muse are just a mainstream pop band... They may not be very left-field but they sound very, very different to most stuff in the mainstream.
JackAndrews Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 i really hope someone does a decent dance remix to this, i think it could be a little faster and his voice could be more roboty in the chorus..
Green Mamba Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Dunno if this has been linked yet. Pro Shot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o01dhTL1EHU&feature=related http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/videos/zanelowe/video/090907_muse
Fish Custard Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I'm afraid their performance of this song reminded me of but that was only because of the keytar, not the actual song I do actually quite like the song, even though it is R&B-y...
Raiko Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I'm all for pop music if it doesn't involve a dance routine, sampling of older music, doesn't involve people talking lyrics because they can't sing, or people singing/talking about how great they are or how tough life has been for them. That's not to say I like everything else mind lol.
a-museing Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 i second that... fuck twilight muse fans suck Cheers Okay guys, seriosuly, not again on the twilight-muse-fan feud it's quite annoying It is very annoying. I'm being called a squeeling 13 year old girl because I like a certain book.
a-museing Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I can't stop listening to this song. I find it quite hypnotic.
HaikuMarko Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 can we all just ya know... respect each other's tastes =D
nohopeinfear Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Thought I'd post this here too, because I likes it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1kOrVEn0dE
Moriah Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 That's the whole point. Agreed. If you think a Muse song doesn't sound like a Muse song then you're an idiot (or I guess, just very confused).
Luke Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 How can anyone vote until they've heard it all? So far, I think it really could go either way, but from the tiny clip I like it! Why I don't quite know, but it's really made me want to listen to Daft Punk's 'Discovery' album for the first time in years. Because some people have heard it all. Reminds me of Michael Jackson & Savage Garden. Sounds good somehow though.
Furygirl Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 My 5 year old listened to UD and she said she likes it, but it doesn't sound like Muse. (She prefers classics such as Assassin and Fury.)
Apocalypse plz Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 when the vocals first kicks in it sounds like matts got an elispe hahha or is it just me?
Peroxide Pixie Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Really like this, reminds me of Dephece Mode, though if I was going to criticise it I would say Matts vocals are a bit whiny in places.

Love your username I agree his voice is whiny on the final "Please me..." bit, that's very forced on the letter P, sounds like Elmer Fudd

Bilbo-215 Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 USoE Took a while to grow on me, Uprising was good and felt right after about 3 listens. But on the first listen of this it immediately felt right. My favourite thus far. And i love Matts KeyCaster.
