  1. Well, if Muse can get inside the top 30, its an unsurprising number one. Easily worthy of a top 10 position though.
  2. Yeah, they've been one of my favourite bands for many years now. Can't get enough of them! :)

  3. Sorry for the late reply. Yes I am. :)

  4. Imaginary set list for an imaginary gig. Main: Forced In (Which would lead into...) Dead Star Muscle Museum Sunburn Hoodoo Space Dementia Citizen Erased Micro Cuts (Which would blend into...) Interlude & Hysteria The Gallery (Which would lead into...) New Born Bliss Blackout Plug In Baby Stockholme Syndrome Megalomania Encore: Exogenesis Symphony: Part 1 Exogenesis Symphony: Part 2 Exogenesis Symphony: Part 3 Would anyone else pay to see this?
  5. Escape is as cheesy, if not more cheesy than Neutron Star Collision. It's as if a teenager is blowing relationship troubles well out of proportion! Ghar, it could be such a good song, but the lyrics are so bad. Would fit in with Twilight quite well too, which would upset a few lol.
  6. Knights with the extended outro is my favourite closer. Not that they've done it in a while. If Muse were really likely to mix up their set lists, I wouldn't mind if they dropped Stockholm, Hysteria, New Born or such. I wouldn't mind going to 2 different Muse gigs and feeling they were equally good, but completely different from one another.
  7. Origin of Symmetry In Rainbows OK Computer Black Holes and Revelations Kid A Amnesiac Absolution The Resistance Hail to the Thief The Bends Showbiz Pablo Honey That would be my list, not that anyone would care lol. I used to rate Kid A as Radioheads best album, but then In Rainbows came about, and then I came to realise that Kid A isn't as flowing as other albums and i'd swap in some other songs from that period.
  8. I'm not the biggest fan of Stockholm Syndrome. That's not to say I don't like it, I love it. Just not as much as some people on here seem to. Anyways, I thought the performance on the Wembley DVD was immense. One of their best live performances of any track i've ever seen.
  9. I wouldn't really class it as a power ballad myself. The word 'ballad' doesn't really suit the song. In my opinion, its more of a rock song, just written to get the crowd singing towards the end of a gig. These are good examples of power ballads. Comparable to Guiding Light, but not so much We Are the Champions. Mr Mister - Broken Wings The Cars - Drive White Snake - Is This Love Foreigner - I Want to Know What Love Is Roy Orbison - I Drove All Night Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart Jefferson Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us The thing they all have in common is that they're overly dramatic are usually based around love or emotional people lol.
  10. I really live Guiding Light. Can't comment on it live, but I think its well done on the album. I am beginning to think that Matt likes his cheese more and more, and while its going to annoy many peeps, I don't think anyone else could pull it off even half as well at the minute.
  11. I'm quite the happy chappy at the minute. Especially considering i'm drowning in Uni work at the minute. New Muse material and two new Feeder albums on the horizon. Couldn't ask for more than that this year!

  12. Hey man! I got scared for a second there. I saw '2 new notifications' at the top of the page and started assuming they had probably been there for months without me noticing lol.

    How be?

  14. Everyone likes Muse for their many different sounds and such. I can see why Blackout is unpopular, but I just love the violins behind it all. The outro to the H.A.A.R.P DVD is amazing.
  15. I think most people just prefer the heavier material. Unnatural Selection is a big pile of poop in my eyes, but a lot of people love it. Blackout on the other hand is my joint favourite Muse track ever.
