That Little Animal
An answer that basically doesn't say anything, though. That's an improvement from saying one thing and doing the opposite.

serpentsatellite
I'm always up for more 80s. When it's done right and not just some crappy gimmick wedged into a song. Yay finally got a reply from Matt I clicked into this hoping you were the one with the username Dick Down.
LiT
Yes. I had enough of it in the eighties. 80's are good when it is used properly. When you reference yourself with the 80's and do not sound like it at all it is something completely different.

I just hate the overuse of synths Srsly I've just never got into the eighties revival thing. My ex-husband was a big fan of errrrr is it Gunship? and it just made me cringe. Nature2
Instead of 80s I would love to see Muse doing more electronic music, similar in style to IAMX, with more guitars. I'm sure they would nail it. But I guess Matt prefers Dick Down, whatever that's supposed to be.

Especially live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FUI5s2j1ek
forevermusic
As far as music goes in general, I'd be more up for some 90's-inflected influences than 80's by this point. It feels like we've had 80's revival since for about 10 years.
serpentsatellite
Ever since that Burger King commercial got Return of the Mack stuck in my head for the last week I've been listening to nothing but 90s. I would also be totally up for that.

smoledman
Pretty sad to see how Muse devolve further and further while Radiohead keeps getting better every album. Radiohead are like fully evolved humans while Muse are shit-slinging apes.
