jurrassitol15
I met them (matt and dom only) after show last saturday. I was lucky enough to won a lucky draw so that I could go to the backstage . They were completely down-to-earth. I remember my voice cracked after the show cause of screaming and shouting... But matt's voice was all right, more than all right. I felt ashamed. x he probably does a stack of warm ups and his throat is used to it...so dont worry about your voice going... screwdriver
Thanks! Needless to say it's one of my fave pix too... I stayed at the Hard Rock, where they were performing -- most of us Musers stayed there, a few took other options that cost a bit less. I got my room rate locked in as soon as the gig was announced; the rates went up quite a bit after that. I know the hotels in Wembley have done the same thing.... When I got to the HRH, I was coming down in the elevator from my room and chatted with a nice short Hispanic guy in a knit cap. Had a DOH moment later when I realized it was Carlos Santana! He has a resident gig there... I have literally been a fan of his since 1969! You met Santana? That is so crazy, I think that is more crazy than meeting Muse! The Hard Rock is great...until the poles come out in the casino (I'm female, so not for me!). I think my sister enjoyed that a lot

I have also asked him if he was tired or not after the show. He said not really. I mean, I nearly died in the crowd! I suffocated. Urgh, god is really a god. I actually don't remember feeling tired immediately after both Muse gigs I went to - felt it more the morning after. I have also asked him if he was tired or not after the show. He said not really. Can't compare a normal person with a god You gotta remember, Muse (like other touring bands) puts on live shows on a fairly regular basis, and have been doing this for quite some time. Can't really compare your experience in the crowd vs. their experience on stage!

paraluman
Adrenaline works wonders. I actually don't remember feeling tired immediately after both Muse gigs I went to - felt it more the morning after. Oh yes. Adrenaline-induced euphoria. I was so burned out the day after I went to a Muse gig. My entire body ached for almost three days! I had to wake up early the next day and I barely slept 'cause I was still to excited about the concert and meeting Dom and all that shiz. But I was so happy so I didn't care how much it hurt. And I'm totally gonna try to meet them.
MuseRLegend
If I get to meet Muse (at any time) I would probably die. Their music means so much to me. It has helped me through some pretty dark times, and getting the chance to meet the guys would be like really sweet frosting on a horrible tasting cake. I totally agree (although the cake metaphor is FAR too bizzare for me!). I had a dream that I met Muse (behind an Icelandic waterfall, as it happens) and I fell to my knees, grabbed matt's legs and sobbed. Then I stood up, sweared a lot, and then hugged them all and spent the rest of my time harrassing them. If I met them in real life, I think the reaction would be similar. Why do I have to live in the UK? They cant really wonder about here, because everyone would recognise them now I need to meet them before I die. I'll refuse to die until then. super_assassin
i know some musers who went and met them at the airport when they came to melbourne for the big day out tour. i really would like to go along and meet them when they come back later on this year, but i'm thinking my chances are slim. the airport is a big place, lots and lots of people coming and going. how on earth would i find them in a such a big crowd? Jack Skellington
Oh, I would definitely make a fool of myself if I met Muse. Like I've met other smaller bands and I got nervous even then, so I could only imagine how it'd be if Matt, Chris, or Dom were like right in front of my face . Damn my nerves!
