  1. This. Resistance ellimination thread And dont lie, everyone knows that teenage girls are treated like underdogs by certain people on here. Its like all the 'omg, anyone noticed how muses audience are all teenge girls?' Well thanks, because we clearly arent worthy to be muse fans by certain people.
  2. Oh, and another thing. Being a teenager, a female, a new fan, whatever, does not mean a) you like twilight b) you dont like the old stuff and b sides. Stereotyping because of these features is really stupid.
  3. I must warn you, I made a post of a similar nature, and it was closed in several days. I appreciate the argument against this. Discussion, debate and disagreement are good, we need to talk about something. But there does seem to be a general opinion on these boards. Whilst this isnt wrong in itself, it seems going against this opinion is to loose your status as a muser. Many people will say 'fuck you, we love muse, and they arent doing what we like and we have a right to express our opinion', but actually, these people are stopping others from speaking their mind. For instance, barely anyone would dare to admit to liking Guiding Light, because a small amount of users will be aggressive and say they arent proper fans. People need to bare in mind that they were a newbie once. Oh, and about the privacy thing... its your choice whether you want to participate, and its only light hearted. Whilst there might be *cough* a few psycopath stalkers on here, most people are just in it for the lolz. I'm sure Matt dreams about Lady Gaga taking him out all the time
  4. I was in the hairdressers... its one of those ones with tarts in expensive clothes with volts wagens. Anyway, they were playing the usual cheryl cole/lady gaga/ anything popular, then all out of the blue comes Fury! And then Endlessly, Falling Away with You, Starlight and... Apocalypse Please! In the hair dressers! I nearly had a heart attack.
  5. I just sent my letter for the scrapbook! Just wanted to make sure you got it, if not, I'll send it again. Thanks!

  6. Ahem. Did you realise what you just wrote. I love NSC, its cheesey and hilarious and camp, the piano is stunning and the guitar moves are awesome. Its a great crowd pleaser as well, apprently, but no way does it compare to the likes of CE.
  7. Nope, me neither. Its the most incredible, surreal and life changing experience ever. I cant understand how people complain about setlists etc when the performance is so amazing. When Im at the gig, Im in another world :D

  8. My mum is coming to Wembley! I think she just wants to see what all the fuss is about, though Im sure she'll complain about Matt's 'moaning'. She'll be scared of the crazy fans though!

  9. I really wanted to go, but my dad was in Sweden, and my mum refused to take me. Shes coming to Wembley though. She''ll be horrified at the noise, and the crazy bobbing people!

  10. Butterflies and Hurricanes is probably the song that made me realise that Muse were special. I would die to see it live. And wow, Teignmouth would have been amazing!

  11. Ive only seen them once before too, in November. It was the best night of my life, so any Muse gig will be incredible. Showbiz would definitely be awesome though.

  12. Yeah, and the UFO! I think the gig will still be incredible, though I would love some raeties, Im not gonna moan too much.

  13. Yeah, its not very fair, though Im sure the gigs will still be amazing. Im going to Wembley on the Saturday, which day are you going?

  14. Thats ok! Im good thanks. Dying to know the setlist from the gig in Switzerland last night, I really hope Citizen Erased was played! You seem cool too :D

  15. At first, I was like: This is a bit electro, too many synths, I don't like this. But then it grew on me, and now I adore it. It gives me chills when that heavy guitar work comes in, and the lyrics, though simple, are forceful and daring. I have to admit, its not my favourite live, simply because Muse don't really play until the guitar bit kicks in. After that its
  16. Thanks so much! Ive had quite a few messages of support, so it cant just be us! Its ggreat to know others agree, so thanks for the encouragement (its needed fighting those crazy negative people)!

  17. Well I'm only 14, and 5'1, and my parents are making me get seats (though we have GA tickets), but hopefully next time, they will let me stand! But my first muse gig was in Birmingham, and I was in seating, and I think about 40% of the seating area was alive, some more people standing still, but I wouldnt worry. The excitment happens inside you... and if that turns you into a raving looney, jumping for the entire gig..... who cares?
  18. im good thanks! how are you, fellow muser??

  19. I heard Chopin's nocturne in E flat major (the one at the end of USoE) on the Orange phone advert - ME: oh yes, I can recognise classical music, thats Chopin's nocturne in E flat major. MUM: One of Matt's favourite?? ME: could be....
  20. I'd love Muse to cover something currently in the so called 'charts'. Something pop like JLS or something like Dizzee Rascall or Justin Bieber... but do it in a rock way (or in a symphonic rock way if you like) and show those stupid kids what real music sounds like
  21. why couldnt the people on english tv choose muse! we just get this crappy chart stuff. although I did hear No Surprise by Radiohead (alright they are my second favourites - but none compare to the gods) on American Idol which was pretty awesome
  22. I can't number them... its deficult enough as it is: Newborn Knights of Cydonia Butterflies and Hurricanes Megalomania Glorious Time is Running Out Hoodoo Citizen Erased Resistance Plug in Baby Bliss Muscle Museum Ok thats not 10... but I tried real hard (and I'm sure I missed something off)
