Glorious Resistance Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I think it should consist of some Oos mixed with Absolution type songs. Hard core riffs...beautiful piano...more falsetto. Maybe a bit of dark theme to it, as well as optimistic mixed in to get a strange but good vibe (if that makes sense). Classical, but edgy piano is welcomed... I really emphasize falsetto (stuff like the Bliss falsetto you know?). Maybe some songs like Resistance and Exo pt. 1. Er...maybe I'm getting too particular. But yeah...
Cameron Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I want a dark album that's very electronic oriented (think Fever Ray). Amazing guitar riffs and lots of synth. Yeah. A girl can dream, lol.

CydoniaHype Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I want a 6th album with no conspiracy theory in any of the lyrics. Conspricy Theorys are the best though!! Mixed with some epic riff and bass line
Hopix Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I want angry and bitter Muse. Alla Space Dementia, Dead Star and Hyper Music.

MusePavilion Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I don't understand all the hate for The Resistance. Anyone saying they've sold out, or went to please their younger fans is wrong. They wrote these songs to please themselves not us. The album has a 12 minute long classical/rock symphony in it about war in outer space if you claim they've conformed to a more popular type of music then you're wrong. Undisclosed Desires was something Dom had wanted to do for a long time. This is the first album to follow through in a full story almost, I particularly enjoy it. I can listen to some tracks on it whenever when as Showbiz gets old if you hear it to much.
That Little Animal Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I'd like them to make a quick and dirty one. Not overthinking or overproducing, just gogogo! After that, they can return to the path they are currently on.
Tunavi Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Will matt's songwriting be different now that he's single?
Florenceblue Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I want angry and bitter Muse. Yes, so do I. I think their lyrics are at their best when we get this. Yes, now that Matt is a single man we should hopefully get more of this (that sounds so cruel but it is not meant to be).
OpenMinded Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 no gaia may be a good thing we love to hear matt cry haha
jennyfluff Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I'd like muse to go back to their roots a bit.a bit of variety and experimentation like in oos (and the resistance) and also just full on songs like new born, Stockholm etc. I think absolution is my absolute favourite album and although I don't want a rip off of it, I would enjoy the qualities of it on a sixth album.
iminvincible Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 no gaia may be a good thing we love to hear matt cry haha joke isn't funny.
jackparker Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 We need an album with some great variety and songs like SS and new born! I feel like we need another song like "endlessly" for some reason? But certainly sumfin like new born on no. 6
Edguy Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 After releasing two pop-rock albums, which is good enough, its time for some big riffs, thunderous drums and screaming guitars:D
superimposition Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I'd like them to make a quick and dirty one. Not overthinking or overproducing, just gogogo! After that, they can return to the path they are currently on. They don't even need to release an album. I'd be happy with an EP as long as there isn't any crap like GL or IBTY... :/

Hopix Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Why does everyone hate guding light? Because it's a cliche 80s stadium rock song with an unoriginal guitar solo and cheesy synths. I however love it.
superimposition Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 The guitar solo is alright, but the rest of the song is plain bad imo. And IBTY would've been great, but Matt's French is awful. Full stop. The rest of the song is alright, though.

The repetition is a bit irritating, but otherwise it's pretty enjoyable. I hope it won't be a single though; that would be boring.
