Clunge
Never really liked the sound of the rock am ring 2004 gig. Agreed, the mix is always odd - was the same in 2010 too. It just sounds a bit hollow and tinny. Performances are still strong though, the 2010 one in particular.
serpentsatellite
Either the mix was odd, or I just didn't care for the vocal distortion. Wasn't my favorite gig video.
Con101
I think if TSP came back for Download and I was there to see it I could pretty much die happy. Surely a tune that would go down well with the average Download crowd and hardcore musers alike
That Little Animal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20y-_YJd5wY When in doubt, Montreux. They were on fire. (Even when you can hardly hear the guitar.)
Peter.
tsp from earls court is probably my favorite muse live video. I'd lose some serious shit if I heard it live.
Picko
The Small Print surely has to return at some point. That 2nd night performance from Earls Court is one of my favourite Muse videos. You can just tell they're really enjoying it. Download would be a good opportunity to bring it back.
Boogles.
Absolution Tour-style setlists with some of the new songs thrown in sounds good to me.
Maneachicken
Absolution Tour-style setlists with some of the new songs thrown in sounds good to me. I'd like the new album tracks to not seem too out of place with these tracks from Absolution though. I like that kind of 'heavy' Muse.
Boogles.
I'm more hoping for tracks that sound like Stockholm Syndrome on the next album tbh.

Con101
Hmm slow news, too much anticipation. It's got to the ridiculous point where I keep finding myself listening to that video the dude made covering the silent guitar on the video Matt posted to Instagram. Wow. jonisdead
...so you can imagine my disappointment when the real song wasn't as good. lol are you kidding me? that sounds like a totally amateur farce trying to play up the "ridiculous" parts of Muse's sound. If you don't think the real song was better than that then I don't know what to tell you about your hopes for LP7
Con101
Oh my god I listened to that so many times too! I need to reel in my excitement for new Muse material, there's months to wait yet. But yeah I kind of agree, the Bond vibe on the actual Supremacy kind of killed it for me. I remember watching the video at E-werk and thinking the guys were back with some serious RATM-inspired riffage. Then I heard the actual song with all the pomp and the strings and the ridiculous trumpet during the bridge and....meh

If you don't think the real song was better than that then I don't know what to tell you about your hopes for LP7 It's one of the better fakes that have been made and it does actually sound like something Muse could have done. No harm in thinking the real song wasn't as good.

scottycydonia
Chances of Muse recording 'Spectre'? Id say after supremacy they have a really good chance of doing it as they can prove they can make a good bond tune. I doubt they would make a better bond tune than supremacy though
