Alesi08
I havent seen any offical confirmation myself so i jsut wanted to be sure will look into it more though I got this message when i signed up for a ticet. Niall
Meanwhile in your scenario we have 5000 happy British people and much more than 40000 disappointed in the world. Swell. I entered, trust me if I win I think you can be pretty damn sure I'll go. That doesn't make any sense.
Dee3Dee
That doesn't make any sense. How does it not?
Niall
How does it not? I jokingly suggested that 1000 places could get allocated to people who are foreign who have no real intention on coming and that a disproportionate number of British people will get annoyed at it. So I don't see in "my scenario" I've suggested that thing that James said.
forevermusic
Is the Roundhouse 5000? I assumed it was 2000. EDIT: A quick Google says it ranges from 1,700 to 3,300, depending on the inclusion of seats.
Niall
3300 standing, 1700 seated. Much bigger than Shepherd's Bush Empire of Casino de Paris...but half the sign of The Den in Teignmouth.
HomesickSubterranean
If they do end up releasing a live EP from this, I really hope it isn't past hits. We already have enough of those, put rarities + new songs on it!

HomesickSubterranean
Or you could watch the live stream, which will no doubt be on Youtube within a couple of hours? Yeah, I'll definitely be watching it, but it's just that I don't need more live versions of New Born, Hysteria, etc.
Dee3Dee
Yeah, I'll definitely be watching it, but it's just that I don't need more live versions of New Born, Hysteria, etc. Then you shouldn't watch it, because that's probably exactly what you'll get. Frakkles
Roundhouse is definitely 5000. I remember because I was surprised to find out it was bigger than Brixton.

At least 10 times bigger than The Cooperage, Plymouth when they where trying to make it ! Now those where the days, when you could just turn up and pay on the door. scifigeekgirl
Roundhouse is definitely 5000. I remember because I was surprised to find out it was bigger than Brixton. Wow - I always thought roundhouse was small ...but then I haven't been there in years! Whatever the exact size, it's a damn sight smaller than the normal enormodomes they play these days. Prob haven't got a hope in hell of winning, but got to try ... *enters comp* who knows - my time might be now! *runs away from bad pun*
hyper_chondriac_muser
I'm quite desperate to go to this! If I didn't win I'd want to buy a ticket off someone if that was allowed, lol. I'll try to enter through every site there is, but competitions make me nervous cos I rarely win. I'm still surprised I won the Shepherd's Bush gig considering there were only around 200 people or something stupid like that, lol. Thankfully it sounds like the capacity at the Roundhouse is much bigger - I've never been to it. Crossing fingers, toes, face etc for this! From the looks of it Roundhouse is about 1,500 or so smaller than Brixton.
