Uprising

Resistance

Starlight

Supermassive Black Hole

Knights of Cydonia

Hysteria

Stockholm Syndrome

Time is Running Out

Plug in Baby

Think these are the only guaranteed staples, add 6 new songs a night and a mix of:

Map of the Problematique

Undisclosed Desires

United States of Eurasia

Feeling Good

and you have the setlist

These last few setlists depress me :(

I guess that something like this

(new song)

(new song)

Supermassive Black Hole

Starlight

Hysteria

(new song)

Uprising

United States of Eurasia

(new piano song)

Feeling Good

Time Is Running Out

Unnatural Selection

Assassin

(new song)

Plug In Baby

Knights Of Cydonia

Take a Bow

Stockholm Syndrome

(new song)

(new song)

is not SO unlikely, and not bad (only the SBH>Starlight and FG > TiRO sections are crap, but hey, it's Muse )

I can't see Undisclosed Desires staying to be honest, the band just seemed way too bored throughout. I think the only reason they played it so much was because it was a single and Matt feels that he always has to play the singles, no matter what.

Or maybe they were just trying to make up for the fact that it didn't do well commercially.

So, the album title should be announced later this month, together with the official release date (probably the 17th of September, according to Dom and Matt). In June we'll get the first tour dates, probably. In early July we should have the tracklist, in late July we should be able to hear the 1st single (at the Olympics opening ceremony? :awesome:)

:awesome: Except for the olympics part :vomit:

I expect a short set for the first few shows and then longer shows for arenas/stadiums.

Shortie show I think could be:

1. New Song

2. Hysteria

3. Supermassive Black Hole

4. First Single

5. New Song

6. Time is Running Out

7. Stockholm Syndrome

8. New Piano Song

9. Old Piano Song

10. Old Piano Song

11. New Song

12. Uprising

13. Classic Song

14. Knights of Cydonia

15. Starlight

16. Plug in Baby

17. New Song

And then add 2 or 3 for arenas, and 5 or 6 for stadiums.

This is probably realistic. Much as I'd rather see them play Hyper Music or Showbiz.

>2012

Are people still being naive enough to actually go to the first nights?

I'm paranoid that if I do go to the second night, they'll pull a one-off and make the first night better :chuckle:

Has there ever been an occasion where the first night's been better? Apart from Wembley '07, apparently that one's debatable.

Earl's Court imo, but both those nights are amazing.

I never understand why people want big gigs? :erm:.

I'd much rather Muse did some small warm up gigs and fight for tickets. I'd rather try for those and miss out than go and see Muse again at another enormous gig. They're boring.

Festivals, fine, but please no more O2 arena shite - they were awful back in November 2009 compared with say Reading last year.

Brixton Academy would be awesome for some warm ups. 2/3 nights there :awesome:.
