serpentsatellite
I really didn't care for Survival closing, and leaving the gig with that fresh in my mind. The fact that it is actually a bit better live was completely wiped away for me by the atrocious visuals, which sort of felt like a thumbed nose at the amazingness of all the previous visuals, and left me with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Kazy-Babie
I don't think I could ever be convinced there is a time and a place for Starlight closing. Even if Muse played my 20 favourite songs and then closed with Starlight, I think I'd still go home disappointed. Agreed with you, Starlight as a closer sucks, you need something with punch to close out the set, and Starlight lacks that punch.
Frakkles
Leaving the Emirates both nights was incredibly underwhelming. Just because you were ejaculating because Knights wasn't closing, doesn't mean the rest of us weren't left feeling limp. I mean...
Witz
I hope Survival, erm, 'survives' ahead of any other T2L stuff. It's beastly live. I really like survival live, it is completely pompous, over the top and ridiculously theatrical but the four part solo is epic and more than makes up for the questionable lyrics and the boring and bazaar piano intro! Just because you were ejaculating because Knights wasn't closing, doesn't mean the rest of us weren't left feeling limp. I mean... Aye. The Emirates gigs had a good setlist as well - its just that Starlight closing gives you the air of "... is that it?"

kueller
Also the fact that performance was so weak for Coachella, not in their control but still. What's on the setlist isn't everything. Lorey wasn't very great either and was one of the lesser ones on that tour but I'd say there were worse.
