Clunge
That happened with me and Recess - so creepy, so waily . Muse basically invented dubstep with Recess. yah rly.
LewisF
I love both versions of Recess, but the chorus in the Different Take is so much better imo.
serpentsatellite
I'm not even sure I knew there was another version.
Redwingsrock
Stumbled across the instrumental version of Madness on YouTube. I love the layers in that song. Particular when the jangly clean guitar comes in before the solo. One of Muse's finest moments, in my opinion.
antoftheproblematique
Assassin Grand Omega Bosses and the acoustic version of Sing for Absolution. It seems for some reason I'm preferring both of these to their originals by far. To the extent where I can't really listen to the originals anymore... haarpabaloo
Micro Cuts. Always liked it, especially the outro, but just been obsessed by this one the last few days. I've been listening to a lot of classical music lately (especially Berlioz) and while it doesn't sound anything like classical music, I think it reminds me of the great classical composers because of how idiosyncratic it is. The arpeggios, strange tempos, weird chords/chord changes, rock/metal outro riff, the unintelligible/bizarre lyrics and of course Matt's piercing ethereal vocals somehow joined into one unified song not even 4 minutes long. Just incredible - I've never heard anything else like it.
Bs
Not exactly rediscovered, since I've always loved them, but I'm been listening to Showbiz and Map Of The Problematique a hell of a lot over the last few days. In that kind of mood I guess.
BigGeorge
Not really rediscovering it but Reapers have been on replay a lot for me lately. That last bit of the solo with the whammy gets me every time.

Citizen Erased 01
just relistened to Endlessly, hypnotic and beautiful. It (and Abso as a whole) has a real tension to it that I feel is lacking in all of their albums since
Guest
Citizen Erased. Again. Out of interest, someone mentioned a studio version of CE that was cut... anyone know what it was? Apparently it's somewhat the same but with synths or some shit, I'm not too sure.

There was originally supposed to be strings in the verses and chorus (there may still be, just quiteter) If that's what you're referring to

Someone made an edit with it in the actual song as well:
LewisF
In the chorus those strings sound absolutely amazing. Never understood why they didn't include them, or if they did, why they are so low in the mix.
