Supermassive Black Hole at least has some nice riffery (especially live). Map Of The Problematique isn't boring. Again it's brilliant live. Soldier's Poem is two minutes long, which compared to five is something of a blessing. Hoodoo is one of the most under-rated songs on the album by Musers on this board. Cheesy lyrics - perhaps, but its not as if I listen to Muse for great lyrical content anyway. The chord progression, drumming, solo and singing is all very good.
