Seriously though after the first few days, he should be able to stand just fine without crutches. Might even be able to hobble around a bit. I mean, I am not a doctor obviously, just going by personal experience.

I'd have to agree. He just needs to STAY OFF OF IT for a few days. I guess it's good they have a week before the next gig.
