We don't know yet that it's going to be on the album. My guess is that it won't be.

It's on the bottom, but I doubt that's at all 'final' re songs on the album (at least I hope not :p). I wouldn't be surprised if it is on there, to be honest, but most likely it'll just be a standalone 'Olympics' thing, which is prob why they're selling it today.

I stand by saying that's on the cheap side for what they have. I paid more for Kings of Leon and Coldplay.

sadly, It's the same with all large arena bands these days really.

But fuck me, radiohead have done one better though. £75 a ticket. An aboustle joke from the supposed ethical band with no record label. At least with muse/coldplay/KOL you know there labels and such are going to want to milk them dry.

I have no problem with them writing more commercially acceptable songs. I do have a problem with them charging £60 a ticket for arena shows. Greedy, arrogant cocks.

Is £60 really that much more than what other arena bands are charging? Every concert I've attended/looked tickets at has been at that range (well, in euros, but the price range is the same for Muse as other acts).

Also, I'm not entirely sure the band gets the final say in ticket prices. I think for foreign tours at least they charge a playing fee and then the organizer mandates the ticket prices. I guess bigger bands have some say in the matter though.

You see, I love sport, I love the Olympics. I hate Twilight and it's for teenage girls, which Muse don't aim, or didn't aim, their music too and agreed to sell their song rights to that movie taking them to an audience of generic pop-loving teenage girls. I see that as an appropriate definition of 'selling out.'

Olympics is an incredible achievement for Muse and signifies how far they've came. Not how much popularity or money they want from it

You see, I love reading, I love the twilight. I hate football and it's for brainless men, which Muse don't aim, or didn't aim, their music too and agreed to sell their song rights to that movie taking them to an audience of generic chant-loving violent men. I see that as an appropriate definition of 'selling out.'

Depends on view point :phu:

Twilight was not a good achievement for Muse. More like a low point. Muse obviously wanted to separate themselves from it, too.
