Bumpypotato
*shels' Butterflies on Luci's Way, streamlined a bit, starting on piano and then switching to guitar. You think? Love the song, but I can't see Muse doing a decent job of it.
FabriPav
Amputee by Oceansize, I think they could do a decent job at it
Bumpypotato
Yeeeah buddy. Actually dude, what Deftones song would you have Muse cover? I could see them doing something cool with Change, if they could make it work as a faster song (and swap Chino's stuff on the bridge onto guitar). Probably Drive. I could see them doing well with that.

bbgunn34
Wb Aqua lung by Jethro Tull? Maybe exchange the cheesy electric flute for some wicked guitar riffs.. I think it'd be pretty gnarly but that's just my opinion

Alec Ferris
Probably Drive. I could see them doing well with that. As in Be Quiet and Drive, or Deftone's cover of The Cars?

Alec Ferris
No. Matt rapping isn't a road I want to see them travel down, and what can they really add to one of those songs?
Peter.
and what can they really add to one of those songs? 3 things: hearts, minds, and souls.

outside_now
Wb Aqua lung by Jethro Tull? Maybe exchange the cheesy electric flute for some wicked guitar riffs.. I think it'd be pretty gnarly but that's just my opinion Would love to hear it, but Aqualung is one of the few major Tull songs without any flute in it! Incidentally, the feedback near the start of the solo was caused by Martin Barre stopping playing momentarily to wave at a visiting Jimmy Page - Matt could be slightly interrupted by Morello? Wickerman
In terms of riffs/jams (No way they could pull the actual song off!) I think the intro from this would kind of suit New Born or Stockholm Syndrome:
Alec Ferris
The former. I like the idea of them playing fast and frenetic. Chris screaming on the bridge, too.
