Butrus
Being a huge Bowie fan, I'd actually like to see Muse have a go at 'Heroes'. I don't normally like anyone covering Bowie songs, especially one as epic as that, but something tells Muse might be able to do it justice. I'd also like to see them covering Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd. Nooo. Heroes would not work. Or maybe will. Or maybe won't. Ok, I'm in two minds about it. Some kind of a heavy Look Back In Anger version would be cool. And Panic Station basically shares some Let's Dance motifs. Would be nice to hear what Muse could do with the actual song. Muse really know how to cover songs neither playing them too close to original, nor destroying the original feel. They seem to get that thin line. Would be cool to hear some more in the near future. Alec Ferris
Katy Perry - Firework. For the lulz. Deftones already covered it, that's all I need.
Arcade
I reckon they'd handle Aerials better than Toxicity. True, that is another good song, more melodic rock than agressive rock. Would work well with Chris as backing vocals

Alec Ferris
AtD-I- Quarantined. Give it the old-fashioned piano intro going into the full-band attack.
MasonB
Not big on Queen but Flash Gordon would be pretty sweet, or Primus! :

darksky
Not my first choice, but as I just took a look on the charts and I saw Locked Out Of Heaven, I thought that this could be interesting as a Muse song

altbecky
Love off of Mellon Collie by Smashing Pumpkins. Was listening to it the other day and couldn't get the idea of Bellamy singing that song out of my head. Not to mention the guitar solo. Very Muse-like. daisytailgaiter
Two older tracks with vocals and guitar that Matt could take even further... This town ain't big enough for the both of us - Sparks Jeepster - T-Rex
Jo(e)
I'd like to hear a cover of "Fever" with weird electronic sounds and guitar soli. If Matt uses his kaoss pad on this he could go completely crazy Something like that is an example weird enough to show what I mean, I guess:
Alec Ferris
"Change" by Deftones, but with piano on the first verse (maybe guitar on the second like in the original) and the chorus played fast and heavy with guitar and bass. And turn the "ah ah, aaah ah" vocal bit at the end into an extended guitar solo to close the song. Carpenter doesn't do them really- I can think of two, and they flash past in about 10 seconds- so that'd be an interesting change from the original. Man, if seven years for now this doesn't appear on "20th Anniversary Tribute to White Pony" I shall be sorely disappointed.
