escapist
Escape is quite sad. edit: There are only 4 Muse songs to ever make me cry (In most-tears order): 4. Exo III 3. Escape 2. HCM 1. Blackout/Instrumental/Strings ...yeah.
xbroken_ideals
Too many Muse songs have brought me to tears. Just about any song that brings on strong emotions made me cry. Especially the songs on Showbiz. Every song on Showbiz apart from Overdue made me cry. Even Unintended...Yeah, I cry easily.
TheBellamyist
In order: 1. HCM 2. Shine (acoustic) 3. Blackout 4. Con-Science 5. Stockholm
Animus
HCM is depressing... not so much sad... and i tend to play it when im mad. EXO III is semi sad due to the lyrics and music... but it also brings happiness because of the lyric "let's start over again" HOODOO is sad because of matts voice and the music. the lyrics are sad and make me think of losing someone i love and singing to that person and saying that ill protect them. GLORIOUS ehh, it's more hopeful. the begining sounds sad with the piano starting. UNO is another furious song, but it's also sad due to the lyrics. WAIT!!! i know the saddest song!!! CON-SCIENCE it's creepy and sad... the piano is perfect for that sad sound and so are the lyrics.
Melania13
Hm, I may sound silly but, Unintended. It made my cry once. im listening to it right now live @ wembley and its so sad.... but, hopeful at the same time....
Gigapoodle
I forgot, Con-Science and Escape. Brings my list up to: 1) HCM 2) Escape 3) Con-Science 4) Hoodoo 5) Host
escapist
I mean really. I think it's [Escape] overlooked. The opening lyrics are "you would say anything, you would try anything, to escape your meaningless, and your insignificance." and then "we are unlovable" and after that "I don't want you to think that I care, I never would, I never could again." and "I will take all of the blame" The song is awesome. But it's also extremely sad. I think the lyrics themselves are sadder than Blackout, but the music isn't.
jack259
I think... Muscle Museum Escape Dead Star Hoodoo HCM SS Blackout Redemption Showbiz And funnily enough, Plug In Baby. That once bought me to tears at a hard time in my life, possibly the only song to do so.

TrebleRose689
How has no one mentioned Falling Away With You on this thread?!?! That's the only Muse song that has ever made me cry before :'( (end of CE has gotten me teary, but I've only ever full-out cried with FAWY)
Mc Queen
When I first got Absolution it was Endlessly I found saddest. My saddest Muse song these days is Neutron Star Collision. Even though that isn't the only emotion there I feel it's pretty strong.

Animus
im sorry but most of you are picking song that i find incredibly the opposite of sadness. i think most of you are only listening to one part of the song or another... but it might have something to do to how you guys add that particular song into your life. i still think con science wins.
