lucidity
Reading about/watching vids from gigs like this actually give me hope, but I'm afraid this'll dissipate when they hit the arenas again and revert back to routine And I liked NSC
TrebleRose689
I agree with what everyone else has been saying... you guys are SO lucky that you had such a small venue! In 2007 I went to an Evanescence concert (I know they're not very popular around here, but please don't give me crap for it ) at a very tiny venue... capacity was only 2000 people. The atmosphere/crowd interaction was amazing and it was fairly easy to meet them afterward (which I did) because you didn't have to fight through massive crowds of people to reach the stage door. In October, I'm going to my first Muse concert ever at an arena that holds about 18,000... almost 10x the number of people! I'm sure it's gonna "feel" so much different... I'd love to have the nice laid-back quality you guys had at this show! Hopefully my next Muse concert (because I've already promised myself there WILL be more in my future ) can be at a smaller venue... if they start doing smaller gigs, that is! Sure, it would be harder to get tix/would sell out faster, but I think it would be so worth it

Pip
Embrace the cheese. Compared with Guiding Light an Invincible, it's damn good cheese . Too bloody right! I've said all along that at least the NSC brand of cheese had the potential to be great fun live and this seems to have been the case!
Mozza
Embrace the cheese. Compared with Guiding Light an Invincible, it's damn good cheese . Studio I find it to be terrible but it is damn catchy live and a great atmosphere. Like Invincible it's awful on record and not my ideal single but seems like it's going to be bearable live. L.
Only thing I would say that didn't work was the inclusion of UD. Killed the mood for me a bit, although did give some time for us to get our breath back and to cool down. Never been so drenched in sweat at a gig... At least they brought back the lights they used in Teignmouth which I think work a lot better with the song than the laser. I did hope that Matt was gonna try some novelty and maybe play Take A Bow on the keytar You damn right, I don't think there was one dry person on the floor at the end of that gig. Embrace the cheese. Compared with Guiding Light an Invincible, it's damn good cheese . At least it upbeat cheese...

Does it say that they'll be playing clips from the show and interviews or just interviews? This is the google translation: Muse, the alternative rock band was British progressive ultra private concert last night on stage at the Casino de Paris. The group NRJ (radio and television) was present for interviews, recordings and about the fans. Were also part of a few hundred privileged and personalities "people" of Laetitia Casta, Helene Segara, Xavier Couture and Michel-Edouard Leclerc. During this concert, which lasted 1 hour 30, the band played several tracks from their albums as well as the latest "The Resistance" and the official release of the third feature film "Twilight", entitled "Neutron Star Collision" (Love Is Forever ). Not being able to hear the 11 and 12 June at the Stade de France, the two concerts to be complete, Muse tonight for a few minutes of musical joy in JT NRJ Paris at 18 pm and in the "News 12" d 'NRJ 12-19 h 40. I don't know what they've used for that video but I have a Lumix TZ7 which is excellent for gigs in terms of photos and videos as it as HD quality and no sound distortion (see my video of NSC I posted a couple of pages back) http://www.telecablesat.fr/article/2010/05/26/Les-News-Muse-sur-NRJ-ce-soir-7987.php Does anybody know exactly what this says? Does it say that they'll be playing clips from the show and interviews or just interviews? Not sure if there will be clips from the gig but they mentioned interviews also it's unclear on there if there will be interviews of the band or just interviews of fans and special guests that were there on the day.
