haze015
Seems a bit tricky, the wire goes right inside the vox amp which unless I take it all apart can't undo? You need to modify the cable to be longer. Otherwise, its not that expensive to get a new cabinet?
Dominic.
You need to modify the cable to be longer. Otherwise, its not that expensive to get a new cabinet? I have £50 in my account to get me through till April, I think a new cab is slightly out of reach at the moment. Besides, Hayden isn't even properly working at the moment anyway and need to get it touched up before its worth doing any of that
Lord MFC
check out the floor! That bass is a chameleon!
Lexical_Whale
Shifted some stuff around to fit a reverb on my board and somehow ended up with more space than before. Slightly more practical layout too. Very happy with the sounds I'm getting at the moment.
matthijs
Doesn't the Memory Man block proper foot access to the Hall of Fame?
Dominic.
I see you have a DS1. Is it not just the ultimate toan device? If only someone had one for sale EDIT: Edited February 25, 2013 by Dominic.
Lexical_Whale
Doesn't the Memory Man block proper foot access to the Hall of Fame? Not so far but I've only just rearranged it so we'll see after a gig or two. Only using the 'verb for one song at the moment where it's on the whole time whereas the Memory Man seems to be on about 85% of our tracks . If needs be I can always stick a block of wood or a couple of matchboxes under the Hall of Fame up a bit. I see you have a DS1. Is it not just the ultimate toan device? If only someone had one for sale EDIT: Haha, tone machine indeed. I've done a bit of modding and tweaking on mine so it's actually pretty decent. Mainly use it to get some really grim feedback at the moment. I do know someone who uses a stock one as his main distortion...out of choice! Seems to work for him though. kueller
But if you sell the DS-1 what's going to fill in the empty hole in your board?
Dominic.
There's always gaps in my board, I don't have enough pedalols Maybe I'll print out beloved pictures of MFC and lovingly stick them to the board SO I CAN STAMP ON HIS FACE in a loving way
Lexical_Whale
You should rehouse something funky and/or boutique in the boss enclosure just to fuck with people. That was my initial idea until I decided it'd be too much effort.
Dave.
What I like about the DS1&2 with bass is that they give a great punk bass tone. Really biting.
matthijs
Wouldn't mind an OS-2 with a clean blend.
haze015
The Boss SD1 with one or two of the mods that are mentioned on HC reviews works really well with bass, not so much guitar.

ryanp16
Wouldn't mind an OS-2 with a clean blend. I'd strongly advise against it. I've tried it with so many different settings and brought so many other pedals into the mix to try and make that a good combo. It just doesn't work. UNLESS You do this Bass -> LS-2 (A+B Mix) -> Boss CEB-3 -> Amp Chain A - EHX Enigma -> Boss OS-2 Chain B - EHX Octave Multiplexer -> Russian Big Muff Turn everything on. I swear it's the coolest most wtf sound ever. But the OS-2 is a lost cause. It's the thinnest sounding piece of shit ever even with clean blend. PVO_Dave
Bought myself a Midtown Custom back in November, then swapped all the hardware out for gold (unless it's a silverburst, a custom should have gold hardware ) Gibson Midtown Custom - Gold Hardware Conversion / Before - After by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr A few photos of my other guitars: 2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard (Desert burst) by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr Fender Strat - 'Roland Ready' conversion by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr Fender Strat - 'Roland Ready' conversion by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr Gibson Les Paul Custom - Alpine White by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr Fender Jaguar HH by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr Fender Jazz Bass by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr My Gibson 'collection' by Dave Witchalls, on Flickr Dave.
