1. Seeing covers showcase more of the creative side of Musers, this thread has been moved from Kit and Tab and given a new home here in Creativity. This thread is for Muse and Non-Muse covers, audio, video or MIDI files. If you want a link to all your YouTube or Soundcloud covers added to this post, send a private message to james90, Matthijs, or any other moderator and we'll add you to the list. Work on here can be freely used to create more complete covers (i.e. downloading drums and adding guitar, or adding vocals). If you wish for your file not to be reused, you must specify otherwise it is assumed you allow it. This topic should be used for discussing people's work, offering constructive criticism and for planning collaborations - basically anything that is on the topic of Muse or Non-Muse covers. Please note that all off topic posts in this thread will be deleted/edited to ensure this thread doesn't become full of spam, this is nothing personal. 2. October 2019 Hi Musers, Anyone in Glasgow (Scotland) or surrounding area looking to collaborate and make some music? Wanted! Drummer, Bassist, keys/2nd guitarist (any backing vox a huge bonus!) aged between about 20-30, any gender welcome. [I’m not long 27 for a guide] I’m a guitarist and vocalist looking to write, record and gig. Had a couple of projects that started up and never went anywhere, so looking for like minded folk to make some music with. Have a bunch of songs partially written, loads of lyrics and ideas and som TASTY riffs! I’ve written and recorded an original song last winter (yet to be released) that’s got a bit of a Musey feel to it at points, certainly inspired by them and many other bands. It’s not a Muse cover or tribute band I’m looking to start, but would never say no to jamming out some of their songs. Looking forward to getting back into the rehearsal studios. If you fit the criteria and are looking for something similar, or know someone that you think would fit, please do get in touch! I don’t always get emails for the forum, so if I don’t reply within a few days - send me an email at andrewp.lennon@hotmail.com or we can try connect on social media! Thanks for reading A Supermassive Pwoper Muser Andrew

4. Hi dear MUSE Fans! I'm a huge MUSE fan and a bassist also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3LcwxSM3p8 - check out my Psycho bass cover if you want. My YT channel is very very young and it's few bass covers there (all MUSE of corse!), but I promise I'll add more and more. You can watch it, like it, share it or subscribe my channel to get to know about new videos - It will make me to record more covers thanks!
5. I want to learn playing the bass and was just wondering which Muse songs are the easiest?
6. Hi everyone. Didn't find a thread about this topic. So, has anyone of you decided to make your own Manson guitars and Pedulla basses? :D Well, i'm probably buying a cheap, 400€, custom built Telecaster and i'm going to make a lot of ''Matt-style'' customizations to it. This is the guitar that i'm buying: And what am i going to do to it? Well, first of all, it is going to be green-glitter-painted. Then i'm going to install a Kaoss pad to it. Anyone else thinking now that it would then fool 95% of people that it's a real Manson?

8. Hi! My friend and I like to play with each other but since we're only two (bass, guitar and singer), I wonder if you in some way can get versions of muse songs with all the instruments except guitar, bass and the vocals. If you know a way please help ^.^
9. Started recording bass covers recently for my youtube channel but its kinda empty Any of you guys have a suggestion for a good song to do a bass cover on? Thanks for the attention http://www.youtube.com/user/joel1524
10. Hey guys, I wasn't sure if this should go here, but I suppose it is Muse-connected, and Banter didn't seem the right place. Basically, I play bass, have done for three years, and (according to teachers and friends) am pretty good. Not great, but good. I have an audition next Thursday (14/9), and am really unsure as to what to play. I've narrowed it down to a few songs: Muse - TIRO A great song, that I can play with real feeling, and can improvise over the top. My main concern is that it could be considered 'easy'. Muse - Hysteria Hysteria has always been a sort of 'trump card' of mine, as it is fast and impressive to family and friends, but not too difficult to play. However, any mistake is very difficult to recover from and I often try and speed it up too much. Muse - Futurism A great, fairly difficult bassline that I've just learned to play. I don't have the timing down quite yet, but I'm confident I can do that in the time. Seems like it would really impress and therefore my current first choice. RHCP - 21st Century My current favourite song, mainly because the bassline makes me feel like a total badass. There isn't much more to it than there is at first, and it's surprisingly difficult to play. It also sounds weird without the effects (that I don't have). RHCP - Dani California Similar to TIRO, but probably the only one I could slap. Would probably fall into the easy category, as it never really changes. Which of these would be the best, and if none, feel free to suggest something you think I'd like/would work. If it helps, a friend of mine played 'I Want It Back' - Jackson 5, and the kind of stuff I like (and would therefore be able to play with proper intonation and feeling) is: Muse U2 Coldplay Rush Green Day RCHP Metallica AC/DC Thanks.
11. (looked for this thread, couldn't find it) I love to play muse songs on guitar, and muse also got me to revist the piano more often, which i had abandoned many years ago. So, what song can you play? Anything, guitar, drums, bass, piano/keyboard, if you can actually sing. (Hey i think any of us would give anything to sing like matt, i try and fail) If you have one, does your band cover muse songs? Do you add a little of your own touch to the songs? Are there songs you've tried and failed? Because Muse is a very talented group, this can happen to many people. doesn't matter if your new to the instrument, feel free to post. On Guitar -Fillip -Just the intro, but its genuis. have to learn the rest -New Born - dropped D fun -Bliss- definatly one of the best muse guitar riffs -Hyper Music - I almost broke my guitar neck and the ceiling fan in my room on this one jumping around. It is one of their most rocking songs. I love to do the scratching intro. -Plug In Baby - supposedly this came from a classical song, the best muse song in my opinion -Hysteria - this one warrents footshuffling and dancing while you play -The Small Print- try and play it as fast as possible -Invincible - The solo IS SO HARD. the most challenging muse thing i've tried to play. I can play it, but not nearly as fast tapping as bellamy. This one is a finger stretcher. - Exo- Politics - catchy, simple riff, with lots of cool other stuff. -Assassin- ne nananananana ne nananananana ne nanananaa BAMMM lol -Knights of Cydonia - Great. Every part. Especially the... ohhh just every part. The only song i'm still failing at is "the groove". haven't found a good tab for it yet. If you know of one, give a shout.
