Quite clearly not, because I just tell them to shut up, and guess what they do nothing! Because just like you they are epic keyboard warriors with no balls.
Unlike you, the guy throwing insults left and right on the internet.

I went to the Chvrches gig at Royal Albert Hall. Had to get through to the front because again the crowds are dead. As you walk through the crowd to get to the jumpers people stop and have a go at you for "getting in front of them" so what are we suppose to do?

You asked the question. People have given you the answers. Did you not want answers? My answers have been polite. You are being abusive.

Your answers are far from polite, you just assumed you knew exactly what had happened without actually asking any questions of the situation. So if you want to be an ignorant arsehole then so will I.

Hehe, I probably should've phrased that one more careful, or not tried to argue at all: On the one side, I'm aware that Muse write a lot of pop music and that the definition of pop is very broad. However, I'm sometimes a bit weird with genres (hence the "over-sensitive"), and so when I stumbled upon "pop band" my brain somehow immediately associated it with such a band as the one I named (even though by definition that's wrong) and thus I started the argument. So yea, for some reason "pop band" has a negative connotation in my brain, that's about all that it's saying about me.

I think that is mainly restricted to America though, isn't it (I mean them complaining about having to play just the pop songs)? I wasn't sure whether Serpent was commenting on the US only, or everywhere. If this was her point and it was considering the US, then I guess I agree.

Yes it pertains to the US sets, which I firmly believe the band was wrong about in the first place, but they've still been mainly pushing the same pop rock songs everywhere.

They have simply been able to ride on their past successes with heavier material, and the US didn't have that opportunity.

Mostly I meant in the attitude of the crowds, and how clueless the band and management have seemed about it.

The older fans introduced to the heavier material first are getting, well, older.

The newer fans they are pulling in with radio hits are more likely to have heard the poppier stuff.

Therefore this attitude of "why the fuck aren't you moshing to Reapers" when stuff like DI and most of their other singles are pushed with AirPlay, is pretty baffling.

The US soccer moms who loved Madness aren't exactly the wild crowd at gigs, even if they do listen to the other songs.

The band is pushing songs with a wider appeal, but want more of a niche audience.

UK press reviews:

4/5 in the Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/what-to-listen-to/muse-rocked-the-o2---but-will-glastonbury-want-more---review/

4/5 in the Guardian: http://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/apr/04/muse-review-o2-arena-london

4/5 in the Evening Standard: http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/music/muse-tour-review-thrilling-theatrical-and-technically-flawless-a3217281.html

5/5 in the Independent: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/reviews/muse-o2-arena-london-gig-review-a-jaw-dropping-extravaganza-a6967291.html

Seems to be getting good reviews, although the Telegraph do highlight from the bat the "over-ambitious" stage and "lackluster crowd". They were way more positive about the Electric Ballroom gig.

I always think the best description I ever read of Muse was they are a prog band disguised as a rock band pretending to be a pop band

That's surprisingly accurate, even if I'd agree with Sippe on which way round rock and prog would go in that sentence.

Where was this description?

A rock band trying to be a prog band trying to be a pop band trying to be a rock band.

Don't have friends? That's a cute attempt at an insult.

Try harder nice time honey. :)

According to people who were at the football game tonight, Chris and Glen said Assassin is being played at Belfast.

Weren't you supposed to be going? Also, it's not a huge deal since they've played it recently. Not like Showbiz is being pulled out of nowhere.

Still not convinced.
