ANGRY
Self-deprecation is trendy but I wouldn't call it useful lol Why are we still talking about this?
Maneachicken
Why are we still talking about this? Because the new album is raw.
Witz
Or you could just insult them back. Nah way too laid back for that I'd say it's less trendy these days. We all spend so much time burnishing our achievements and cool lives on social media, after all. Couldn't agree more, nowdays most people are tighter than... You can use your imagination!! Why are we still talking about this? Lack of news and general tedium Because the new album is raw. Hell yeah!!!!!
kueller
Nah way too laid back for that So am I. But I'm also rarely insulted. Someone change that.
jonisdead
I would. It teaches you not to be bothered when someone insults you. Wouldn't self-confidence teach that? Or lowered obsession with PC. I know PC is a big issue in the states but I don't know if it's anything as ridiculous in the UK.
Raiga Kagekami
So am I. But I'm also rarely insulted. Someone change that. Why not just eat your meat...raw? ...I don't know where I was going with that. I'm still worried the album will get overblown in the heavy direction and then very little care will be given in arranging the album in a cohesive, wholesome manner. That is one more point I feel that Muse has to try to get it right, not just the heaviness.
kueller
My expectations are always low for cohesion.
serpentsatellite
At some point, I think I believe that lack of cohesion means if I hate one song, at least all the rest will be really, really different from it...
PlugInYorkie
This thread needs cohesion! What a load of off topic nonsense 😜
WeirdF
I want more seamless transitions between tracks! Like Citizen Erased into Microcuts or Hyper Music into Plug in Baby. Actually I can't think of any examples of it since Origin.
Bumpypotato
I'll just settle for good songs.

I think this idea has merit and makes the album feel more of a listening experience as a whole. Enter Shikari did this really well on their first album 👍

serpentsatellite
I feel that when tracks lead into one another, it often leads to those songs sounding a bit off on their own. Probably because after a few listens, I'm more likely to listen to single tracks randomly. Survival is the best example. There's something actually wrong with the beginning of the album version. Witz
11 hopefully as this for me is the magic number of tracks for an album. I have no science to back up why this is the best other than 11 is 1 more than 10 and amps also sound better when turned up to

You know you aren't anywhere near as clever as you think you are...your condescending and pointless little comments are far more of a waste of space on this board than my emojis.
