Peter.
Well, technically the piano IS slow, since it's not moving. the earth orbits the sun, so it IS moving
Hat
Looking at the guitar video again, isn't it totally obvious that he's playing pretty much all of the strings? Also you can even hear him strumming in the beginning?

I heard the strumming at the start: possibly he was strumming a final chord before the riff/solo kicks in
fras
Looking at the guitar video again, isn't it totally obvious that he'tty much all of the strings? Also you can even hear him strumming in the beginning? Matt often plays on all the strings but uses his left hand to mute strings, pretty common technique. He might still be tremoloing only one string even though he's strumming all of them.
Hat
Fair enough. I'm just saying that the recordings we've heard so far haven't really sounded accurate.

Olly.
Someone made the comment that we'll start seeing people making replicas of this guitar/painting their guitars, so I mocked mine up in response. It follows a series of tweets on my profile. Typical muse fans.
Hopix
The guitar that Matt poses with looks like it was done with spray paint, don't know why he's bothering to stand there with that stupid paintbrush.

Citizen_Eraser
I have just realised that on page 320 the person who referred to Osaka Jam was actually talking about it being played on guitar. Now I get it (I was in a rush you see) When was Osaka Jam played ever on anything but a guitar/bass?

Based on Matt doing his "wrist flailing tremolo" version that he uses when tremolo'ing chords vs his regular more traditional style of tremolo picking a single string this may be true. But you'd be able to see more strings vibrating and you can only clearly see the A string moving. Hard to tell though its a grainy video but your point is still valid. I think the D string is vibrating too.
