  1. I feel like Mercy will be my favourite off of the new album, no idea why. I'm interested in the JFK-->Defector transition. Defector sounds real nice as well.
  2. Haha, I knew you guys wouldn't like that opinion. It is the truth that she is talented, smart, and very artistic. It would definitely be a different and interesting collaboration, I'd love to hear it. Let go of those stereotypes built up of her, she's a great artist, one of the best out today. Seeing Muse create an innovative and good song with a black, female artist like Nicki could go over fairly well. It's not gonna happen though.
  3. I'd say that that could definitely be a great featured artist for muse. She's a great rapper, her past crazy tendencies have calmed quite a bit, she's a very smart and very talented artist nowadays. Her being featured on a Muse track would bring a lot of attention to the both of them for creating a good bridge musically and socially.
  4. There's a simple, and obvious basis for the Zane Lowe post, as this was his last day on Radio One. Many other musicians also posted on twitter for his departure. The Jimmy I. connection, of course, is curious.
  5. If he's ordering the cheap version of his guitars, chances are he's going to smash the shit out of them. That's exciting. Let's hope he breaks the record he made on the Absolution Tour.
  6. Thank you so much for finishing my theory. I came up with that a while ago on the meaning of it, never could figure out what the other men were. I do really like it as well. Looking at some of Matt Mahurin's work, however, I think that there's really good potential there, I'm very interested to see what he can do with Muse. It'll definitely be more interesting & more passionate than the boring (however colourful) cover for T2L.
  7. No, they're not the Four Horsemen. That's the commonly accepted explanation, but if you look closer, you can see that there's a lot more meaning in it. This is the Tom Waits album art I meant to call amateur, it's just terrible.
  8. Some of Mahurin's stuff comes off amateur (see his Tom Waits album cover especially), however, some of it looks absolutely incredible. I don't agree that Thorgerson's work for Muse was uninspired, I think it's some of his best work. Especially BH&R, just filled with meaning.
  9. Just about every song performed sounds better at the beginning of the tour as his voice becomes more and more worn out as the tour goes on. (Especially seen with Supremacy compared from E-Werk to gigs even a month later)
  10. Oh, no, I get it, both the sarcasm & stupidity are great laughs
  11. 10/10 sarcasm & stupidity all in one thread, quite a show.
  12. Probably not the same way he used to, but the note at the end of survival & at the end of showbiz are the same..
  13. I've heard those songs on the radio and I'm in the U.S..
  14. I love this album cover here and it has always confused me what it meant, I always disagreed with the "four horseman" theory, it just didn't make much sense to me. The invisible man is another good analysis but I think there's another meaning behind him.. Not sure. And thank you, my username is fantastically pretentious.
