No! Oh what a complete shit, that's a really nasty thing to do. Sorry, Jamie xx

It's annoying, but that's life I guess... I've emailed a person on ebay who's started their auction at face value and looks like they dont want too much above that to do a But It Now...

Can I justify £100?

Hmmm

Make sure it isn't 3Puttcity though, he sold me a ticket and didn't deliver, I got my money back eventually but it's a stress you don't need. And yes, you can justify £100, will be worth every penny. I paid £98 for one of mine, no regrets yet.

Hope you get a ticket.

Be really careful on Gumtree, I was trying to get a ticket for the 26th on there & pulled out twice because the sellers in question were dodgy ('I didn't get a confirmation email'/ photos stolen from ebay listings etc). If you can do it face to face that might be better, but if you can't, don't go ahead if they start claiming that they can't use PayPal (also make sure they have a confirmed account). Hope you have better luck than I'm having.

Just found out about a couple of people who will be at MCM Expo at the excel the day after so I reckon I know what I'm doing on Sunday!

Re timing for seats, depends if you like The Joy Formidable I guess or if you just want some pre-gig banter/adrenaline, I won't be rushing for the one I have seats at though

Hey there, this is my first gig so I have some catching up to do...

I have three standing tickets, how early should I arrive to be a few rows away from the barrier? Being quite short I'm not sure what to do... Help anyone? And is the queuing for those with tickets inside the Arena? I've never been... :/

A few rows from barrier you should get no matter what time you arrive, or so I'd have thought.

It's all under cover once in the main entrance to the O2 itself, that includes all the arena entrances, shops, food outlets, toilets and merch.

You can leave the queue for short periods until fairly late on in the afternoon to go and eat etc.

Might have actually got one! :D :D :D

After a full day of exploring the deepest darkest corners of the internet for a ticket (:pope:) Giovanni (user jimbo on here) has saved my butt once again by saying I can have one of his seated tickets which we are now swapping both for standing through someone on musebay. Happy days! <3

Behind the stage? How does that work? Is the stage going to be in the middle or something? (Forgive me if I am being daft, I have only been to the O2 once to see Radiohead).

The O2 has a tier of seats that goes all the way round. It's mainly in use for sporting events like the Olympics, the ATP World Tour Finals and NBA in Europe, but some concerts open up these seats. The stage sits where it would for an end-stage production but the seats that would normally be shut are in use.

They did this when they played the O2 in 2009 - I had a walk from my seat towards the back to the behind-stage sections in the middle of the gig to take some photos. I also have rear-view seats for these ones, although from what I've seen I'm still getting a pretty good show, and for half the price. Plus I don't mind seats - I'm happy to go batshit wherever.

Didn't the seats behind the stage get reassigned as Standing or was it only certain sections?

Dunno - I saw one person with a rearview seat say on here his ticket was reassigned to Standing but my ticket remains as a rearview.

Maybe the bits directly behind the stage have been reassigned and the two immediately on side-stage are being kept on.

Thanks! ;)

So is there any meet-up in the pipeline? I should arrive between 2 and 3 pm so... yeah ^^

Well I'll just be sat in the queue at entrance F with a few friends for much of the day but not sure if anyone else is organising anything. To be honest, most of my gig socialising takes place in the queue, it's the best place for meeting people, in my experience :)
