The url as it will be displayed is something like https://plus.google.com/u/0/109130806570160085984/posts (this is mine). And that long number is all you need to enter. Things on twitter can go in the Muse on Twitter thread, other articles go in Muse In The Media. If there's something beyond that that should be talked about then by all means say, but at the moment there's nothing happening so with a thread that always goes off topic we agreed it's best to keep it locked. When we get any kind of real news on the new album we'll open a new forum where threads concerning everything about it can be made. As far as I know, it's a thread about anything Musey on Twitter. I know it has actually dragged other threads off-topic too, but not as much as if the sixth album thread was open. It's more that it can't be trusted to be left for long than a few hours without someone talking about their cat dancing to Coldplay or whatever. That is a good suggestion, but again, we don't have all the time in the world and we also don't know what's fact and what's rumour. It's nice to speculate, but feeding rumours isn't exactly a good way to roll and we've only got very few facts at the moment. As soon as we get our first major piece of news, it'll be straight open (except if that announcement is a tour, at which point the gig speculation thread will be the relevant thread). I know it's frustrating and I know a lot of people are missing out but there's going to be a crapload of new people coming in soon and the last thing we want is newbies thinking it's okay to vomit off-topic stuff or to follow the lead. Origin: Shows how the world evolved. New Born represents the new beginnings with Jesus's death, Bliss represents Easter, Megalomania represents Midevil times and tyranny with kings. Absolution: Introduction of the new world complete with paranoia, conspiracies, and war. The horrible ordering of the album explains why WWII is at the beginning. BHaR: Post war world, TaB is the end of WWII, Starlight is the celebrations. Knights of Cydonia represents the new planets found in space and shit, segues into... TR: The future when an attempted Uprising on the government turns into 1984. Love becomes rebellious again (1984 and crap again) when suddenly the world ends (EXO) Sixth album: Whatever happens once the world (probably) begins again. There is an animal on this list called a "koodoo", which rhymes with "Hoodoo". So Kirk must be saying that the album will be most like BHaR?!?!?! Sigmund also believes that your speculation of every Muse album being about Matt's desire for his mother is really projection of your own desire for your mother. He did say in an interview last year he was inspired by pink floyd dark side of the moon.. Clearly the first video will feature mollusk porn. All those are from the Twitter thread. And that was just one and a half page. The thread has absolutely nothing to do with Twitter anymore. The 6th album thread might as well be opened up. I realize you don't have time to infract everyone (nor should you have to) but the amount of off-topicness caused by closing the 6th album thread far outweighs the off-topic that was in that thread. It would take maybe 5 minutes to edit the first post of the thread. If you don't want to use rumours that's fine but what you can do is separate facts and rumours in the first posts. Make it the distinction clear.
