  1. as far as i recall there were no UK gigs in 2005 ? i may be wrong - they could have played somewhere inaccessible to me at the time - i just know it mucked up my 'seeing them every year' checklist i feel the same as you. F**K the setlist. gig withdrawal is kicking in.
  2. I have been refunded thanks to the Musemu help address. Very quickly too considering all my emails to the shop that got me nowhere
  3. the uk shop needs a kick up the arse. seriously. this should be making muse lots of lovely money. if people don't get the service they will stop the purchasing. i'm owed a refund and i will think very carefully before ordering anything else from there. the american shop is ace though. apart from the total rip off Post Office fees that accompany the tax charges but that's not their fault.
  4. i like all the shorties being on the barrier. that means if i'm in the second/third row, i can see over them all nicely actually the worst offenders for getting in the way of the view are the security guards and the damn cameramen!
  5. part of me thinks i'm gonna have to stay away from all these threads cos it just makes me sad that i can't go :'( and it feels like ages before they play in the UK again. on the other hand, reading all this excitement make me feel very happy for you guys. you're so lucky
  6. ha i just clicked on your link to see how much you raised with the set list (well done!) and ebay kindly suggested other things i may be interested in, including : lionel ritchie crew shirt and setlist 2009
  7. Hi

    Limoges ticket.

Someone else asked first but if they don't want it, I will let you know.

  8. thinking about credit card entry systems can you imagine the panic when the doors open and everyone wants to run to the front especially when your card won't swipe properly... still it is a good idea for those people who have credit cards. for those who don't, you need a very good friend, willing to sit through a gig with you. photos on tickets would probably be easiest as long as the photos were clear enough to avoid any confusion.
  9. i'm writing to BBC watchdog about the problems getting a ticket and the hundreds being offered on the re-sale and auction sites - perhaps everyone else would do the same - they did a feature on rip off ticket sites before and have had influence in other areas. watchdog@bbc.co.uk the more people who write, the more likely they are to take it up...
  10. it's disturbing that not only are tickets on sites like ebay (let's not forget it isn't the only one) but now the ticket agencies are getting in on the act with 'resale' sites of their own. the number of muse tickets plonked straight onto aloud's resale site is shameful. it looks like i'm going to have to face my fear of flying to see muse this tour. i would rather spend the extra money going somewhere a bit exciting than lining some rotten f**khead's pocket.
  11. could try reporting the ebay sales to gigsandtours as it breaks their contract "In particular, we draw your attention to the fact that all tickets are for personal use only and cannot be resold under any circumstances. Resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or other compensation. The Event Partner and its affiliates, successors, or assigns may enforce these terms in accordance with the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 " but i doubt you'd get anywhere. and not all the tickets are bought through them anyway.
  12. kirkbot is not enough.

  13. no muse dream but: my cat brought another mouse in last night and i was woken by the sound of bones being crunched. eeargh!
  14. ok so i'm at wembley stadium. there's only 6 people in the queue. we get let in to the special golden area which is right in front of the stage and has tables and chairs like a restaurant. our table is directly in front of the stage, the best possible position. we are given steak to cook on a bbq thing. dom and chris join us but they have cabbage to eat so we share our steaks. matt is below in the car park - he has just reversed into a concrete pillar and has run away leaving tom to sweep up the glass. (we can see this - well it is a dream!) the rest of the stadium is packed except our special area. then just as muse are about to take to the stage.... i'm woken up by my cat with a mouse so i don't know what happened. probably was an awesome performance.
