JustPretending Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 - I'm neither interested in politics nor in religion (not an atheist though) - I love languages, I'm surprisingly () fluent in German and nearly fluent in English Learning Latin & French (not that obsessively, especially French not that much) - I'm collecting DVDs (movies & tv shows) and buy like, every single one I can find in my local shops - I love Doctor Who and House - I'm awkward around everyone - When I've got an obsession I don't care about anything else anymore - I DON'T like science or physics. I'm too stupid for it. And I'm not that interested in sci fi or anything like that. - I love reading. Like, seriously. - I'm listening to my music as loud as I can in case someone hears it and we can talk about MYOOOSE. - I'm an artistic person although I can't draw or anything. But I love photography and writing, it's addicting. Ah forgot: - I'm a concert addict. I've been through sooo many concerts by now it's scaring. I should stop now. I like dr who and lost I play guitar and piano (and double bass (and i used to play violin (as well as the cornet))) <- I'm quite musical, In orchestras and stuff I like books and lit in general I like flight of the conchords And im a boy haha well hello there! at least there are some guys round here I think girls tend to join these community type things more often -Atheism seems to be a bit of a theme around here also, a lot of people mention being shy ect. ect. is that a common thing too? I'm not particularly, but it seems that's something quite a few musers have in common. - Oh! I have no sense of self-restraint and I get a huge kick out of breaking any sort of rules or disrupting conventions in public areas. Anyone else get that? naomithegreat Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 love this idea. hmm let's see. - politics: i don't trust politicians and conduct myself in society the way I think is correct, not what some dude tells me to do. plus, i live in chicago. aka "city of delusion" aka most corrupt city in the US. you learn to tune politics out. - religion: got no religion (insert lady gaga tune here). i believe in right and wrong, heaven and hell, and some greater being/force. the rest is just details that ppl like to fight over. - i'm a girl! - extremely sporty. can go toe to toe with any guy about almost any sport. die hard manchester united/chicago bulls fan. - student/hostess. - i like to collect funny/cool/obscene tshirts. - play piano and guitar, but my passion is singing. - confident. head strong to the point of pretentiousness... but control it pretty well. and an avid lover of sarcasm. it's fabulous. i think i've rambled enough. CharlotteC94 Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 - I'm a fairly passionate socialist and I have pretty strong views on sexual/racial etc. equality... and I'm agnostic - I loove Doctor Who, Back to the Future, Star Wars... pretty much anything sci-fi - specially retro sci-fi and also retro gaming like N64s and ZXSpectrums - I like the sciences at school but my favourite lesson is history... - I love to read! Well good books at least like Artemis Fowl and the HitchHiker's Guide etc. But the scariest books are those like 1984 which you can see happening in our society... THAT'S frightening - I can't draw or do anything artistic to save my life but it's one of the things I really wish I could do But I do sing, and am starting to learn piano. I'm sort of obsessed by music and I spend hours a day listening to my fave bands (Muse, Queen, Led Zepp, The Beatles etc.) Noooow I've rambled far too much Oh yes! Multiple times too, so I guess I kind of buy it. -I am agnostic. -I've played piano for 8 years (going on 9 this year), violin for 5 years (going on 6 this year), and I'm teaching myself guitar and bass. I have a drum set, but drums confuse me. -I'm incredible at languages. I consider music a language and I'm alright at that. But I've had an A+ in Spanish II the entire year. -I have incredibly low self-esteem. If I'm told I'm bad at something once, or if someone is better than me at something, I automatically think I'm terrible. -I am so much more interesting on the internet than in real life. -I find it really hard to meet people. I also find it really hard to stay friends with people after awhile. -Lolz, I'm a girl, although I've been mistaken for a 30 year old male on here before. -Oh and I'm 15. -Oh (I'll probably just keep adding crap), I love music! I want to learn the bass guitar and cello, but I don't have enough time... -I believe in a god, or at least a greater force that created the world, but I don't believe in religion. -I am a major procrastinator. Especially when I have a computer/piano/book sitting in front of me. -I love writing, but I don't have the attention span to actually write anything good. -I like yogurt. I want to be a mathematician and a particle physicist as a career (as you might be able to tell from my current avatar) (It's the current standard table of elementary particles). - I love learning about "conspiracy theories" (technically I believe everything is a conspiracy theory, it's just some are regarded as "truth" and therefore people don't tend to think of them as a "conspiracy theory") This is most likely due to Muse. - I am pretty good at speaking Spanish (I've been in some sort of Spanish class for the past 7 years with 2 more to go, and my mother is a Spanish teacher so that helps). - I love science fiction, and I like to theorize about what might exist that we just don't know yet. - I suck at music and art related activities. I'm a math/science person all the way. - I don't believe in a personal god, but I'm open to all ideas (especially those concerning an impersonal creator). - I believe in aliens, and most likely the "multi-verse." - I'm a boy. - I love to write. - I love video games. - I'm very social, but only to those that I want to be (which is few sadly). - Oh and I'm very cynical. Stopped with lessons, but I still make music with my trusty Korg -Want to learn guitar and bass really badly because of Muse. -Not religious. Could care less politics. -Female teen. -Love orchestra, art, and math class. -Hate science and history (lol sorry) -Not a huge fan of the whole Sci-Fi genre but I LOVE Doctor Who -I won't shut up about Muse or Radiohead. -You usually see me with some big-ass headphones on my head. I love singing and I can sing pretty well, but I'll never perform in front of anyone. Only if I have to for Rock Band. I'm pretty geeky. I won't deny it. I love Sci-Fi. But not all. Some can get pretty cheesy. I like the older stuff. I love the sciences and started out pre-med in college, but ended up just getting a minor in bio and majoring in Sociology/Criminal Justice because I wanted to help communities as a whole. I love video games. I tend to get very passionate and loyal about things, be it TV shows, sports, bands, politics, makeup brands, causes, etc. I'm a caffeine addict. I love photography. I sing though -I had been obsessed with Harry Potter from 2000-2007 -I used to be very shy, but not so much anymore, though I still find it difficult to start a conversation with people. -I have been addicted to the internet for this last year, which makes it hard to concentrate on other things that are more important (such as studying) -I love travelling, even though the only country I've ever visited is Australia (it was a long journey though ) -I really like talking about myself.
