I was destroyed when Pushing Daisies was canceled. Me too! Basically crushed my soul (Hahaha okay, that's a *little* melodramatic, but I was still pretty darn upset about it. I'm very shy to meet new people, but once I get to know and feel comfortable around them then I start to relax. I am also a visual artist - I love painting/drawing, I recently took up jewelry making, and thanks to this messegeboard I even tried writing real poetry for the first time. Fave TV shows include the now ended Lost, Ghost, Medium, V, Bones, CSI:NY, House, America's Funniest Videos, The Amazing Race. Not really into movies/going to movies mainly because I can't afford the $10 - $20 movie theaters charge here in NYC. Speak very little Spanish, Japanese, and Italian. I love to play W.O.W. I can manage a little German, both speaking and reading, and I can (sort of) read French and, believe it or not, Old English - for pleasure no less. Oh yeah, English of course - I'm tolerable at that I suppose. Old English? Wow, I'm impressed. I took one look at it and ran away screaming. Not iterally. Since everyone's talking about languages... I'm fluent in English, can speak but not read Mandarin, can read but not understand Polish, started learning German, and forgotten most of what I learnt of Spanish and Latin. I was able to read Greek for awhile, but I've forgotten most of that, too. Also, Melania: You must be my twin. Minus the languages, republican, and good at math part, everything else is the same. And I want to learn every language there is. My other favourite band is Coldplay <3 Muse will always be number one for me, but I also looooooooove Coldplay. I can't play ANYTHING. Well, the little things you learn in one year of playing piano. So I can play the piano part of Starlight, and the first verse of Coldplay's Clocks. I've been apart of an orhestra for 9 years and plan to major in piano performance at college next year. I love all sorts of good music. I love classical and hate when people say it's for stuck up/nerdy people. If you gave it a chance and had an open mind it is incredible. I love to travel and hope to go out of the US soon. I really want to study abroad or my dream would be to live in a different country some day (not sure where yet). I am shy around people I don't know, which sucks when trying to make new friends. I'm not the type of person to just strike up a conversation, but if someone has the same interests then it's easy. I'm sort of a loner now...lost all my good friends (but that's bound to happen in high school. I just graduated so i'll meet new ppl). I'm one of those people that hate football (US) and watching sports in general. I like to play but not watch. I used to play volleyball and love it and I love to swim. I guess I like "geeky stuff" , I like to go to museums, all sorts of concerts, theater plays, I like to go to the library and Barnes&Noble even though I unfortunately don't read much. I like being outside/nature stuff. Not really into politics at all and I am religious. Interested in all kinds of art. I like to paint and draw. Not into facebook and the like but only if I need to get in contact with someone. I don't care what your status is or what you're doing every second of the day. But I like forums, they are awesome!!! Agreed - I play in orchestras/ bands... -...since I play cello and tenor horn (any other brass band geeks here?) properly, then piano and bass guitar whenever I feel like it So i love music - Doctor Who. Nuff said. - I love science - I like languages (I learn/ practice French, will be learning Spanish as of September and i want to learn Italian) - Love to read, not been able to much recently (death by exams) - Erm, shy around people I don't know well... But if you know me, I am quite the opposite:LOL: - I don't have a preference for sport... but I will quite willingly watch the cricket? - I'm female. I watch Canadian football (not American - sorry, it's kinda boring), and hockey. I myself do martial arts. American football is BOMB! I am learning karate! -Also, sports nut here! (actually just American football, but I love to play any sport ever ) -I want to be good at everything, i am extremely ambitious with what i want to accomplish (be a karate genious, play piano, guitar, draw/paint awesome, write, be in incredible shape, be completely fluent in Spanish/Russian as well as English, get perfect grades, have the perfect body, always have my room be clean... etc etc) The problem is, i just dont have enough time or resources, so instead of focusing on a couple of them, I choose to do a little of each... and dont reach any of my goals Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Muse, CNN:eek:, FB, twitter - I hate math with a passion. -Likes to listen to classical music. (Rachmaninoff & Prokofiev). I used to play violin but I quit cause I'd rather listen than play and butcher music. You're just like me! Except that I am planning to get into journalism one day. I'm obsess with pasta. go italia! - My favorite music genre are alternative and classical. I listen to music while studying. - I had some dreams involving Muse in it. - I'm kinda shy and weird (ppl around me said I was weird, listen to weird kind of music, I can't say much about it because they listen all to bieber. ) - I love converse shoes and harry potter. haha better stop now. I'd love to play the drums, though. I'm not very creative or artistic, I'm more intellectual, BUT enjoy lots of artistic stuff (specially music, NEED it.). Just can't do it myself - I'm a girl. - I've always been kind of good at school, and I'm very interested in biology, medicine, psychology,.. I've been to med school, stopped, and am starting psychology next year. - I speak perfectly french and portuguese. I think I can speak english pretty well aswell haha, and I understand a bit of spanish. I can say a few things in spanish. I understand a bit of german, but really not much. - I am very passionate about things and I have the feeling that many Musers are? - I'm an atheist. I don't care or understand much about politics, but I'd say my political views are quite socialist (now let's hope this is the right english word and doesn't mean anything baaad ) - I'm very lazy when it comes to listening to new bands etc, so I don't discover new stuff very often. I don't have a particular kind of music that I prefer, but most of the bands I enjoy are alternative, indie, etc: MGMT, Lady GaGa, Radiohead, The Kills, Arctic Monkeys, System Of A Down, Archive, The Last Shadow Puppets,.. - As sports, I tried a bit of everything and got bored very quickly. But I've done Tae Kwon Do for a while when I was younger, and started again a few weeks ago. - I don't really enjoy seeing many people at the same time, and prefer spending a night with a good friend than with many acquaintances. - I'm a bit geeky. haha Mhh random, I like piercings and tattoos but only on girls, I love animals but have arachnophobia, I keep on being astonished at human stupidity. Ah, my town is SUPER Polish. Like... Chinatown, but Polish. There's less English than there is Polish even. Even the random Korean supermarket sells Polish food and candies, the birthday cards in the convenience stores are in Polish...honestly it's a wonder I can't speak it at all. What style are you learning? As probably everyone else here, music is a huge part of my life. I sing along to everything. Like, songs I hear, ads on TV, etc. My friends used to complain about always having a humming noise in their ear, but now they don't notice it anymore, because they are so used to it Anyway... I play the piano (have played for 10 years) I like exercising, running, sports I also like to eat. Especially chocolate. And lasagna. I have a permanent craving for lasagna. People who don't know me think I'm weird. People who know of me think I'm quiet, shy and nerdy. My closest friends think I'm annoying, mean and a little bit awesome. And I get drunk on sugar. I like alternative rock, but I pretty much only listen to Muse I'm either very determined and stubborn about something, or I don't really give a shit. I'm lazy. Like, extremely. I dislike maths and science subjects with a passion. (Though I get good grades in them) Did I mention that I am stubborn? If I am in the middle of an argument, and I suddenly realize that I'm wrong, I still continue to argue. But that never really happens, because I'm never wrong.
