MuseTheMuscleMuseum Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Does anyone find it odd that Invincible, Guiding Light & Neutron Star Collision are three of the most disputably hated Muse songs and yet all three have probably some of the best solo work of Matt in recent Muse history. MizzeeOH Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 I think you can probably include Starlight in there as well - I've seen that get quite a bit of hatred. Which is unfortunate. I love ALL of these songs. *sighs* Invincible and Starlight especially, they were some of the first Muse songs I discovered and just fell in love with. Guiding Light I like but I'm not totally "in love" with, and NSC I do like quite a bit even if it's not one of my favorite songs of theirs. Just saying: Has anyone else noticed, before the Invincible solo, the bass sounds a little bit like Hysteria, just for a bit, and then it sounds like the Assassin bass slowed down? And towards the end of the solo, it sounds a bit like B&H "Chance to be heard"...I don't know if you know what I mean, but just give it a listen, you might pick it up. /random Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
