Can't help but feel the need to post something serious. There was likely a substance in the confetti that damaged the tastebuds for tasting other things than salt, to the extent they stopped functioning. This means that you can now (almost) only taste salt, and that the other tastes will return once new tastebuds have replaced the damaged/malfunctioning ones. No need to worry though, even on perfectly healthy tongues the tastebuds are lost and replaced once per week. So in a couple of days from now you should be cured. Don't laugh people, the above is most likely true, and can even happen when eating biological substances, like pine nuts.

Since I missed end of the thread
...Highs: Overture winning (I was initially positive MK Ultra would win), Guiding Light getting eliminated quickly, solid top 4.
Lows: United States of Eurasia not coming second, Undisclosed Desires not doing better, Resistance not coming second last and my opinion changing every two days.
And I must say, the Haarp Elimination thread gave me a new level of appreciation moderating skills.

Well, I've had a couple of listens to your track - it sounds very Kid A - if Muse were to have gone in that direction. I'm a big Radiohead fan so that's a compliment I assure you. Enjoyed it!

Ah, cheers for the message, I'll check out your vids! You work very much like I do, although I do record the bass and use a keyboard to record the MIDI tracks for strings and so on. It's tedious to program the drums by clicking, isn't it? If you're interested, there's a link to one of my tracks in my sig - comments are welcome!
I'll let you know when I've heard your work as well!

Have you checked out my other 'vids' on youtube? I've posted up three very rough mixes of songs of mine on there. I've written all parts myself, though worth noting the recordings are instrumentals and also the bass, drums and strings (where applicable) are all treated midis (as I orchestrate all the stuff in MIDI after writing it)...
