Alec Ferris
One of my fears with Muse doing a concept album was that they might try to shoehorn the themes into the songs, regardless of the fit. Sigh. They should've gone the opposite and jettisoned songs that didn't fit. Decent ones could've been b-sides. Simples.
HomesickSubterranean
Listened to it on iTunes, then Citizen Erased from Le Zenith came up Still ok though
Tobiiiaaas
The melancholy tone of Endlessly still fits on Abso imo. I wish Fury was on the album but Endlessly is still a fucking great song
Hat
Trying to justify bad songs because 'it flows with the concept album' is absolutely ridiculous, you guys know that right? Or maybe the people saying it flows with the concept album actually...you know...enjoy it? The justifications is simply about it being pop. Huttz
Like many others... once it started = WTF! Last half was alright but I'm not really into the single at all. I knew when they gave us Psycho that this single was going to crappy. Something heavy to calm everyone down before releasing Dead Inside.
Absolutioner
This makes me want a studio recording of Reapers to cleanse my palate. I liked Psycho anyway, but I think I'm gonna be listening to it even more now before the album comes out to remind myself why Muse is still worth a pre-order lol

Nimbus
I expected at least something like Uprising as the opener but this is just another pop song. #thankskate
Spittle
It goes well in to Drill Sergeant + Psycho, imo. Thematically.

FabriPav
People are actually enjoying the second half more than the first? Even with that boring guitar?

Jimmyneutron
Oh man this is not good. Expectations are at a low ebb. I thought they were doing away with the electronica pop stuff?

Jazzthief
The best thing about the song is Matt's delivery - he's really into it and giving his all
Alec Ferris
People are actually enjoying the second half more than the first? Even with that boring guitar? I'm confused by people enjoying the song in general. Inb4 Simon yeah I know some people dig the lyrics, the melody and instrumentals.

skrillzzz1109
The best thing about the song is Matt's delivery - he's really into it and giving his all 100% AGREE WITH THIS. I love how his vocals sound on this track. This goes back to fabri's question above. That "4-chord guitar" section is pretty flaccid on it's own, but I think it highlights Matt's vocals effectively. Magnolia86
The character just has to lose hope and become dead inside. The character could have gone through a similar situation to Matt and end up in Psycho camp. A lot of concept albums have this scenario. I don't know, I still find it weird. This is pretty much the tragic sequel to Madness, but I just can't make sense of these two lines whatsoever: " Unleash a million drones" Where did "drones" come from?! and "You've taught me to lie without a trace And to kill with no remorse" Kill with no remorse?! Surely we know who hasn't done that, right? Edited March 23, 2015 by Magnolia86
Dee3Dee
I'm confused by people enjoying the song in general. We weren't stupid enough to hype this up as anything other than a Muse single.
