Any videos of that? I have to admit, I've not been listening to the recent gigs, but I'm curious to hear if it's really that bad.

sounds kinda shit in the section before the kaoss pad but overall isn't that different from last tour really

These setlists really are appalling.... Did they think the China rules applied to the whole of Asia or are these really just the setlists they're going with because what the fuck

EDIT: Probably the best I've heard the Dead Inside second half sound for a while.

Bullshit explaination I can think of:

They seldom play/had never played in Thailand, so they have to bust out the bland/greatest hits set.

Singapore is a dictatorial country, so they have to apply the Chinese set.

Hong Kong is a free city/country/place, so they're gonna go with a decent set. Yay!

On the 2016 tour I reckon they'll play the album in full, or at least give it a try for a few shows like they did with BHaR. They could always end with The Globalist and play the album version of Drones as an intermission of sorts with some fancy visuals, with the second part of the gig featuring the hits and (I sincerely hope) one or two rarities. 23 songs would be enough to cater to most die-hards and casuals alike. Though would Matt be able to cope with sets like that on such a busy tour with his voice in its current state?

Everyone screams like Matt's voice is gone forever, and I've yet to see good proof...

Yeah, agreed the vocals on Dead Inside's last part at Lolla Berlin weren't great, although they sounded much improved on the version from Bangkok I found on YouTube.

Thank you both. I'm starting to get a bit paranoid. :chuckle:

No way I'm going to sell my tickets, though. Unless he really loses his voice. But then, no one will buy my tickets. So I might as well keep them.

No I have the same problem with people telling others that something is impossible to dislike. But the biggest hyperbole does tend to be applied when there's dislike of a thing, and the inference that no-one should like a thing gets on my tits.

I agree. I said it here somewhere before - I am against statements like "this is shit", instead please say "I think it's shit". It's all subjective when it comes to any form of art.

Unless it's literally shit. :p

I don't really see why it matters, the 'I think' is generally implied.

If I went to a restaurant and the food was shite, I'd just say 'this is horrible'. Saying 'I think this tastes shit' just sounds unnecessary, to me at least. The same applies to music.
