Haha, thanks. I'm in my hotel room in Prague, this is the perfect warm up for tomorrow.

VIP ist in Europa auf Sitzplätze beschränkt und die waren eher spärlich besetzt. Am ersten Abend bin ich in der Mitte gestanden, ca. 5. Reihe, Klavier links von mir, hab schlecht gesehen und es war anstrengend. In Bercy kannst die Jacke nicht abgeben... SO HEIß! Am zweiten Abend bin ich auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite gestanden, und zwar dort wo sich der Kreis mit dem Catwalk links trifft. War ein Tipp von SerpentSatellite. Ich war also auf der Seite, wo NICHT das Klavier war und wo Matt bei Starlight war. Sicht war viel besser! Ob das aber immer so ist hab ich noch nicht recherchiert - das mach ich wenn ich wieder zurück bin. Dritte Reihe, Fuss hat Barrierengitter erreicht, angestellt hab ich mich erst ab 18:30. ;-) Oh umd dort hab ich voll den Drones Konfetti und Streamers Regen abbekommen.

Ich habs heute auch besser als gestern gefunden, vor allem bin ich besser gestanden. Ab jetzt bin ich auch nur in 1 Gig Städten...

Ha, so the second ticket paid off for me big time tonight. Special thanks to SerpentSatellite for the suggestion to stand on the left side of the stage. I was in the third row and the view was great. I had a way better time than yesterday.

Yeah, I thought the almost empty VIP section felt weird too. But I do understand that not many people wanted those tickets. ;-) Did you stand on the VIP side from the stage?

Ah, I'm usually one of those "how can you be so negative, you old grump??" people, but last night felt a bit off even for me. Just too many factors that made it a bit annoying (heat, less than ideal view, a little girl next to me that I felt I had to protect from the people around us, not so great view, achey legs, etc.). So I hope for a better night tonight, and that I'll be the annoying "oh they can't do ANYTHING wrong" person again.

Probably when I'm not there anymore. I queued for only one hour, so I really can't complain. Thanks anyway, I'll try the left side tomorrow. On the VIP side. The view from the seats is so good, I tried it after the show. But also very subdued up there as far as I could tell during the gig. At least I have a seat in Prague, so I'll get that experience, too.

But where is the right left? I think I was standing on the "wrong" side. The supporting act was mostly facing my direction, but Matt was mostly on the other side. Or so it seemed. I think the VIP section was on that side... hm.

Yeah well. I'm back at the hotel. Not as great as I expected. Drones broken or something, no possibility to give up your coats, so VERY hot, and the view from GA in the middle is not that awesome with Matt and Chris running around all the time. I did enjoy it, though. Different spot tomorrow I think. Somewhere at the side maybe. After walking through Paris for 4 hours doing sightseeing, I am completely knackered now after the show.

So you're really not going to the gig you paid for, SerpentSatellite? I don't understand either why they treat the US that much differently. That's a complaint I do agree with.

Ja mir wäre das auch lieber. Aber wenn die technischen Probleme die Folge vom gehetzten Aufbau sind, dann kann das keine Dauerlösung sein. Ich denke nicht, dass Muse sowas nochmals riskieren wollen... Schau ma mal.

Houston-Dallas hat eben NICHT geklappt (http://www.dallasobserver.com/music/muse-battled-technical-issues-and-a-late-late-start-at-troubled-dallas-show-7827488). Deswegen wohl diese Konsequenzen. Ich hab laut Google Maps glaub ich über 5 Stunden Fahrzeit von Berlin nach Prag rausbekommen.

Habt ihr schon von den US Gig Verschiebungen gelesen? >_< Anscheinend geht es sich nicht aus innerhalb von weniger als 24 Stunden die Bühne zu transportieren. Mich betrifft das in Prag. Mal schauen ob sie das auch verschieben. Hoffentlich bald, damit ich ein Hotel buchen kann!
