I thought it had been pretty much decided that the best version of Stockholm Syndrome was either Earls Court '04 or Glastonbury '04 (even then most people seem to prefer Earls Court).
Yeah, it was decided, and then some douche came in and had an OPINION.

:noey:

I'm entitled to my own opinion am I not? The outro is on ef the best I've heard from them. Granted it's just a RAtM cover for the most part. It's the only version of SS I listened to for the longest time.

The outro is great but I find that they do a lot of outros to SS that sound like that now-a-days. That and the actual song itself just seems...average by their standards :erm: but meh, it's your opinion, like you said.

Earls Court for the main song, Glastonbury for the outro - for me.

I'm not sure if it was Reading or Leeds, (I'm pretty sure it was Reading), but Matt botches the lyrics for Darkshines in the second verse. Don't know if that matters to anyone but, just sayin'.......

They cut out the first solo and shortened the second, but the song sounds so damn good played by a more matured Muse.

I guess it's personal preference, but I really don't like that exaggerated "deep" vocal tone that Matt gave the song. It was also dropped 1/2 step for the gigs from the original.

He messed up the lyrics at Reading but I'd still say that Reading still had a teensy bit of an edge over Leeds sound-wise.

I remember not expecting much from the song and the chorus kicked in...ah, dat bass and kick pedal
