  1. It seems like the particular Space Dementia vocals problem was less about trying to imitate a certain style of singing and more about trying to project properly while being in his lower register. IMO.
  2. So on my Twitter timeline, some one is saying they met and talked to Dom and asked him about the 20th anniversary plans and he said nothing is firm but they are playing with the idea of playing a country that missed out this year and specifically mentioned Sweden. So maybe a Swedish festival on top of some UK club gigs? I don't know. Just speculating.
  3. Got it. Had similar thoughts Fabri, but you know, 'murica and blocked. I am excited for the Vegas tracks though! They are both songs I did't record at the gig so will be nice to have them...
  4. I contend they are saving it to put on the DVD. Gotta give people incentive to buy it.
  5. Wow. Mexico made a real impression on him apparently.
  6. Yeah I wound up just emailing the manager if the theater that was listed and she confirmed it was the 6 even tho the site said the 5. Oh well.
  7. Also some theaters are not even aware of this and tickets are not available to buy yet, as I just found out in Salt Lake lol.
  8. Inb4 Zepp is only released in Japan as bonus feature on the DVD.
  9. Dylan there's one in Toronto. The IP auto lookup isn't working real well, use the city search function instead.
  10. 4k in Salt Lake : awesome: Not driving 2 hours through the snow over the mountains on a school night to see it on the 5th tho!
  11. I don't think this is any big revelation. They've made no secret about the fact they consider themselves a live band first and foremost. I have seen that sentiment from them in interview after interview, both past and present. They have won umpteen million best live act awards. I do think that affects the music in various ways. Matt has said he writes with "How is this going to look, sound, feel in a live setting" in mind. I also think the fact that they are a live band above all else affects the b side situation, because they don't usually record anything that they don't plan or picture themselves performing. They DO write just enough and with the aim of taking it on the road. That's pretty much been established... I don't really think we'd get much different from them if they took a large break after touring. They aim to write exactly what they want to, and it is geared toward live performance. It's interesting that the original poster pointed out the two albums that they self produced as feeling different from the rest. I think there's a subject we could dissect more.
  12. There were so many people on their phones right up front that Matt commented on it, so I'd say yeah. It was pretty bad.
  13. Woo hoo! I figure we'll be there all day, I am sure we have plenty of time to get to know each other! LOL! Happy queueing!

  14. I have read that quote before. I think it's actually from an older interview, and reprinted as something new. I know the Las Vegas story has been referred to in older interviews too, like the BH&r era... Am I dreaming this?
  15. I'm trying not to read much into it, it just sounds like he had a really great time. There's probably a fraction of Musers who are freaking out thinking all this progress with bringing back some older stuff had been undone by one cheesy love fest in Brazil. I am trying not to be one of those people...
  16. I wonder who isn't on board with Big Freeze, lol. My guess: Chris.
  17. Well it's not really a secret now. And also, pretty sure if you are wanting to link us to the darkest recess of the interwebs, Kueller's already got us sorted
  18. I wasn't sure where to leave this, but I lol'd when I saw it. I am mom to a percussionist and a Muser, and he started marching band this season, and out of curiosity googled and found this. I think there are probably better arrangements done by better bands, but, it's great nonetheless. My son is lobbying his band director to do something like this sometime before he graduates, lol.
  19. Yeah, man, they could NEVER pull off Glorious. Especially not in SLC or Denver. Or Charlotte.
