EllaB
Citizen Erased. I mean, it's always been awesome, but having hope that they'll play in in DC tomorrow has me listening to it on a constant loop.

Alec Ferris
Minimum. It's a fairly obvious borrow from RatM, but dat riff. Also, haven't heard Pink Ego Box in waaay too long.
Museic Syndrome
How can you be obsessed with something that sounds like absolutely ordinary film soundtrack? No sarcasm, I am just curious. Come on man, Isolated System is out of this world.
jacjens
Also, haven't heard Pink Ego Box in waaay too long. Has to be the worst Muse song ever made.
SpiralStatic1
Come on man, Isolated System is out of this world. Yeah, It's not bad. but nothing that special. Common, think how many times we already heard "something-like-this" in typical blockbusters? But, I agree, it's better than most of them.
kueller
Isolated System sounds like it would be part of a soundtrack I would love.

SpiralStatic1
And I'm perfectly fine with a soundtrack I would love. You were not the one who's been "obsessed" with it.
kueller
You were not the one who's been "obsessed" with it. At the moment it's probably close to overtaking Animals as my favorite T2L track so I definitely have some strong adoration for it.
Hat
And nothing more than that. Are you implying that soundtracks are worse than "normal" albums by default? You need to listen to some Clint Mansell.

SpiralStatic1
Are you implying that soundtracks are worse than "normal" albums by default? You need to listen to some Clint Mansell. I will. I never implied something like that. Soundtracks can be masterpiece. I just asked why was someone obsessed with IS in particular while it's only a ordinary soundtrack. I just asked why was someone obsessed with IS in particular while it's only a ordinary soundtrack. It's my 2nd Muse song ever because it's my favourite string arrangement Matt has ever written, I think it's a great mix of electronic beats and strings+choir, and I love the overall mood and the apocalyptic feel of the track. It's no ordinary soundtrack.
SpiralStatic1
I just tend to like good songs. Shit. Obviously, if you like a song you find it's good. If someone dislikes a song one finds it's bad either. Bur I love those too. I am happy they've played them again.

It's no ordinary soundtrack. Ok then. I agree it has a 'feel' in it. But i found it a bit cliched... Something like, too many 'apocalyptic' films - too many 'apocalyptic' soundtracks, you know... I mean I didn't find it special in any way. But that's me.
