knightofcydonia14
This song gives me goosebumps at the beginning, and the lyrics are great, even though they are kind of depressing. It's better than Invincible, and I loved Invincible. The solo is also very awesome!
meg21maniac
With those lyrics? Umm no..... not the words. i like the tune.
FirstSoloFlight
Nope. Undisclosed Desires would make the most sense. Or I Belong To You - shortened without Mon Coeur S'ouvre, simply because the Singles purchasing market - ie 16yr old girls who listen to crap like FloRida - wouldn't appriciate its true worth. FirstSoloFlight
You're a fucking idiot. Unless you're an immature 16yr old girl who listens to FloRida, there was no need for that.
the aurora
I love how the lyrics are negative as hell. The music is so uplifting but then you're like, "Oh shit, I'm depressed." <3 "The sunshine trapped in our hearts, it could rise again but I'm lost, crushed, cold, and confused with no guiding light left inside." Amy W
Only just realised how brilliant the lyrics in this song are! Really love this tune The way Matt sort of screams a couple of the words reminds me of the Showbiz times great stuff.
I, Prada Shoes
No way. THE Prada Shoes? I swear you're one of the oldies from the old board. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm afraid I am not. This is the first Muse board I've ever been part of, and the first forum I've ever used "Prada Shoes" in my name. Novus Dies
Quite sad actually that people feel the need to suppress their own emotion for the sake of 'fitting in.' Or being called a troll.
LTM
I think it's fucking great. I also think Invincible if fucking great too. What's wrong with some of you people?
Rut8norm
if by "christmas-y" you mean totally terrible and cheesy, then yes i do agree it should be released as a christmas song.
Adi
It doesn't sounds Christmas-y at all. Well, IMO anyway. The day MUSE makes a Christmas song, hell will possibly freeze over.
Pip
For some reason I find the idea of Muse releasing a Christmas song a bit naff Rather too Sir Cliff/Westlife/Mariah Scarey I think!
nohopeinfear
Well I was backing "Mad World" when I heard it had a chance to be number 1 at Xmas. Guiding Light isn't as obviously sombre/depressing as that song but it is actually quite a negatively charged song, despite its' upbeat instrumentals!
