heyjackk
Big Freeze is better than Explorers but I still wouldn't really want to see it live.
Tesseract
Well Explorers isn't really anything to write home about, and that got playyyed way more than it needed to..I'd say that theories out the window lol. Not that either are my favorite by a long shot but if you ask me Big Freeze >>>>> Explorers Maybe Matt likes Explorers more than Big Freeze. He'd be right to. Zepp
I always thought BF had a great chorus and solo but I found the verses horrendous. Now I've grown to tolerate them but they're still far from great. And I think there's no way he could sing it at the moment, especially given that he didn't even give it a try when he was at his best on T2L tour. I mean it's probably their hardest song to sing for him alongside Survival.
kueller
I love the solo and final chorus.
nkdmtro93
Any suggestions for the setlists in their festival dates?I think The Globalist will be dropped. So 18 songs setlists might be?
Hat
not sure if JFK+Big Freeze makes a whole lot of sense but hey ive seen worse suggestions lol, still wonder why they've never played it live, it doesnt really sound like the hardest song to execute live save for Matt's Map of the Problematique-y guitar in the beginning lolExcept it's the hardest Muse song ever vocally. Hat
For chest voice yesWhich is the register that Matt struggled with the most, so for his voice in general, yes.

Radicrane
Ha! JFK+Big Freeze? Still... I'd rather have that than no Big Freeze at all.
kueller
have you tho like rly At some point, someone in the band, or associated with them, suggested that Starlight could be an acceptable closer to a concert.
Zepp
Or that it would make sense to bring back Prelude - that they never played/used on T2L Tour - as an intro to Starlight.
ryanp16
I like Prelude as an intro to Starlight.
Jobby
At some point, someone in the band, or associated with them, suggested that Starlight could be an acceptable closer to a concert. oh boy guess we dodged a bullet there glad that definitely didn't happen Or that it would make sense to bring back Prelude - that they never played/used on T2L Tour - as an intro to Starlight. I don't really get the gripe with Prelude tbh. I get that it's a Survival tease (though, considering he's not at the piano, it shouldn't really be surprising) and another 50 seconds of pointless fluff but the transition itself works fine imo. If it weren't for all the other things eating into the gig time, I think I'd actually quite like it.
Zepp
It's not gripe but more like a wtf reaction and as you said there are enough fillers.
Frakkles
It's better than most of the other fillers. I mean they play Interlude FFS... I would also argue that JFK+BF is a worse idea than closing with Starlight.
kueller
It's a really jarring transition. With the live cymbal crashes and bass it's this really epic, loud, and even kind of heavy piece, and then it just goes into Starlight of all things.
forevermusic
Big Freeze is shit. Prelude+Starlight does look like its make no sense. It could be worse but its nothing like doing it into Survival.
musekiddo
Anyone know what time they're on tonight, 9ish?
Violet1979
Doors open 6 pm, begin 8 pm = Nothing but thieves. So probably Muse at about 9.15. And btw Muse, if you're reading this, please do play the glorious Paris 4 or Paris 6 setlist at Cologne.
Jobby
Anyone know what time they're on tonight, 9ish? Probably not 'til about 20 past, their lateness has gone up a notch since they've come back to Europe.
