superstar smile
Is there any sign of a queue yet? Seriously?? Ha ha. I'm going to get there for 7-7:30 then if they're on at 9. It's going to be an intimate gig either way, and I've had plenty of experience being at the front!

I'm not planning on getting there for another 6 hours at least, just wondering if people were queuing. But a venue the size of the O2 isn't really intimate is it? suzyjj
Just 'won' two tickets courtesy of XFM so worth a try if anyone still needs some. Basically go into Ticketmaster and enter XFM as the code.

dukelion
I was going to get there for like 7.45, I just don't want them to turn people away if they gave away too many tickets or something...
Frakkles
That's probably why they've got such a big period of time of letting people in. They probably gave out somewhere nearer 20,000 tickets than 15,000 tickets.
cyberdrummer
I'm pretty sure if they gave out more tickets than spaces available they would have had to notify us when booking. Otherwise people could get turned away at 20:55, despite them fully abiding by the terms and conditions.
AlecSp
Would be great if the first people to go in could post what ID checks they've had to go through (if any) just so the rest of us can know what to expect...
Stephanie Kaoss
Is anyone planning on getting there for 7? Does that sound about right? I have no idea what to even...
cyberdrummer
Someone on the Last.fm event page says they've spoken to people setting up the stage and Muse will be playing for 45-60 mins. I'll take that with a pinch of salt. I'll be getting there around 8, not too bothered about getting right to the front.
Deve2k
I'm probably going to get there around 5pm...No idea what the queues are going to be like lol Whoever gets there first should let us know how many people are there!
Frakkles
It's a free show, they don't have to "notify you" of anything.
cyberdrummer
I'm pretty sure they do. It still constitutes a contract, whether money has changed hands or not. It would certainly be sensible for Ticketmaster to have done so if they have 'oversold', because there'll be a massive sh*tstorm if people are turned away. mintzpp
Im planning to get there for 6:30ish Hopefully get a good view since this is the first Muse show ive ever been, haven't been able to make others If I get turned away because of ID be sure to expect a rant posted in several hours... Frakkles
It's a free gig. You're wrong if you think they didn't "over-sell" tickets.
kazzie
I doubt people will get turned away.. Sounds just like the airline Business of "Overselling".. People have tickets, and its a sure guarantee that many people wont turn up, Quite a few people on here for example can't go now, All those arsehole touts who have tickets they can't sell on. And take into count that 2 tickets were issued to every 1 person.. Not everyone will bring that plus 1. See you all there
cyberdrummer
I'm not saying they haven't oversold - they probably have. But if that's the case then Ticketmaster will be getting a lot of complaints and in serious trouble, because they have a legal obligation to notify people. WarriorOfCydonia
Just walked by and as far as I can tell, no one is here for Muse just yet! Lol looks like another event is about to start as people are seated in the venue.
Assen92
I can't get in touch with the person(or the backup) for my spare. I'm heading into London now, will probably be around Leicester Square, if you want it, call me at 07580026930.

As there's already an event going on it means less work needed to be gig-ready.

My ticket just says 'entrance 2', wherever that is. No mention of seats...
