Yeah, I expect so. I have to say though, I'd just played an MA before it, which I'd been really impressed with, and obviously it's a completely different animal. I found the Trussart to be clunky, toneless and unresponsive. Which may of course be the exact point, but it's not for me. I played a DL-1 after to make myself feel better and all was right with the world again.

Dont listen to him, it is amazing, I was very impressed. I say go for it. They've managed to keep the feel like a classic tele (and sound) but with a twist. It's very a very nice guitar and I love the back of it, and the relicing. it's clever how it's hollow but with holes in the back, I like that.

the guy wont sent to the uk :-( theres a few over here but i cant get the right deal, also the trussart has a graph tech system installed, save me a few quid on getting one install on the jazzmaster.

Might be having Mansons mod a new one in a similar way... I would've bought the above one, but I don't want to find any "surprises" as you often find with modified guitars that you don't know the history of

It's different certainly, and it felt kind of cool, but sound and playability-wise it felt a bit too harsh and rusty to me, which as I said, is probably the whole point...

 

Stuff like this...

 

it's very microphonic – selecting pickups can result in an almighty clonk through your speakers

 

...annoyed me too though...
